The Las Vegas Raiders are getting close to training camp and the start of the Pete Caroll era. Overall, the team has brought in Carroll’s philosophies as a head coach, with players expressing their excitement about the energy of the new regime.
However, with a new regime always comes change over time. Players who weren’t a part of the program originally could see themselves being free agents in the next few years. One of those players is Jakobi Meyers, whose contract is up after the end of the 2025 season. Meyers has performed well for the Raiders and had his first 1000-yard season last year. With the drafting of two receivers, the writing could be on the wall for Meyers.
In this week’s SB Nation Reacts, we ask Raider Nation if they should re-sign Jakobi Meyers to an extension. Fans are onboard with the extension, with 89% of Raiders fans wanting to see Meyers on the Raiders long-term.

Meyers has been a fan favorite since he joined the Raiders with his blue-collar approach to football. He could be in for a big year for the Raiders in 2025.
