The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s name has been dragged through the mud, and she’s also been fired from a Housewives-themed cruise she was supposed to be a part of. Now, she’s speaking out and revealing why she didn’t fight the situation.

Jennifer was supposed to set sail with Teresa Guidice and Dolores Catania for the Fans at Sea Ultimate Housewives Cruise in September. However, after the video of her causing drama at an airport Jersey Mike’s went viral, the cruise line dropped her. Now, they’re advertising that there will be a surprise guest.

Recently, Jennifer sat down with US Weekly and discussed the drama that has come up following posting the video. Regarding being fired from the cruise, she said, “Somebody had messaged me [while on vacation] that I was cut from the cruise. I had no idea.”

She continued, “My manager didn’t want to tell me. She didn’t want anything to ruin my trip. Then I went to the website, and I saw my name wasn’t there. And you know what? I took it like a champ.”

Jennifer said that she didn’t put up a fight over being pulled from the lineup. For her, it makes business sense. According to Jennifer, “This is a business and this is their business, and I do not want them to receive any backlash because of me. The cruise was a fun idea for me because I love an opportunity to engage with the fans, but it’s all good.”

She added, “The timing wasn’t the most ideal for my family. The kids are going back to school that week and my kids were already complaining that I had committed to doing it. Everything happens for a reason. I understand that this is totally business, and I respect the cruise’s decision.”

The cruise line has also issued a statement. According to them, “This decision was not personal nor an act of canceling anyone. At Fans at Sea, we believe in second chances and personal growth. Our priority is to create a drama-free, fun-filled experience for everyone. To ensure this, we made adjustments to keep the cruise enjoyable and welcoming for all guests.”

Jennifer also spoke to the outlet about the viral video. She feels she wasn’t rude and that everyone in line had frustrations with the employees.

She explained, “I will call a spade a spade. That staff was very highly dismissive, not just to me, to everybody on that line. Everybody was frustrated.”

Still, Jennifer did admit that she should have never posted the video. She continued, “I’m one that takes full responsibility and accountability for my actions. When I feel I’m wrong, I should not have posted it. I just want people to know that that was coming from a very frustrated mom who just wanted to make her flight with her children.”
