Before being cast on Dancing With the Stars, Robert Irwin stripped down for a Bonds ad. It is an Australian underwear brand, and fans were shocked at how buff and built he was. More so, he was suddenly an adult, and no one expected that. At twenty-one, Robert is taking on new ventures, one of them being a contestant on Season 34 of DWTS. When they announced that he would be dancing away, he appeared shirtless, and everyone was thrilled. Fans even paired him up with Rylee Arnold as they felt they would be the perfect duo.

Since he took it all off to model, it looks like that is what fans want and are expecting from Robert. Therefore, he will be doing just that when he starts dancing. This is something that he has wanted to do for a very long time. He even recalled watching Bindi dance and wanting to be a part of the show, at just eleven:

“One day, that’s going to be me.”

More so, Robert is going to give the viewers what they want, and that is a little peep show. He admitted he has no idea how long his shirt will stay on, which has always worked with the judges. Bruno Tonioli loves a good shirtless moment, and if Robert Irwin succeeds, he could be a winner like his sister. However, Robert is not just giving the fans what they want, he feels a shirtless moment is advantageous:

“You heard it here first. Yes, I don’t think that shirt’s lasting long. You’ve got to have mobility. You can’t let it get in the way.”

So, Robert really wants to move all around on Dancing With the Stars, which is extremely admirable.

Although Robert Irwin will be ditching his shirt on Dancing With the Stars, he did share that he wants to add something. He is adamant that there is some khaki present, as that is what his family and their zoo have long been known for:

“But I do also want to see how Dancing with the Stars can incorporate khaki… I need a piece of Australia Zoo, a piece of Irwin-ness in there.”
