Southern Charm's Craig Conover is now a single man after his girlfriend of nearly three years, Paige DeSorbo, announced their split in late 2024. Craig and Paige were everyone's favorite Bravo couple, but the latter admitted that they were in different places in their lives.
After their breakup, Paige was rumored to be dating a man named Joe D'Amelio after she was allegedly seen attending the Super Bowl with him. In fact, he was reportedly the mystery man attending an earlier NFL game with the Summer House star in January.
So, while Paige appears to have moved on from Craig, is he getting back into the world of dating? Rumors are swirling that the reality TV star might be getting cozy with one of his co-stars, and a recent interview with her may prove to be true.
Southern Charm's Salley Carson Teases Her Date Night With Craig Conover
Craig Conover may not have to look far for love. While appearing as a guest on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on February 27th, Southern Charm newbie Salley Carson spilled on her rumored date night with her co-star.
Salley and Southern Hospitality's Michols Peña took part in a game titled "Re-Who-Nion?" in which the reality stars had to dish on what took place at their respective show's reunions. When Andy asked Salley to share on "a scale of 1-10" how much more insight Craig shared about his split from Paige, she revealed, "10." However, that led to Michols spilling on her reported date night with the pillow maker.
"I heard you went on a date?" Michols states. Salley then admitted, "Yes, but it was not just the two of us there." She then elaborated, "It was a close friend of his and then his assistant, Jack."
Andy further pressed Salley on the possibility of her and Craig dating. Surprisingly, the former Bachelor star hinted that there might be some sparks flying between the two.
"I'm just getting to know him as a friend, right now," Salley shared. However, fans couldn't help but notice Salley's delightful expressions and Michols side-eyeing her when speaking about Craig.
Later on in their joint interview, they played another game in which Salley had to "Swipe Right or Call It a Night." When asked about Craig, Salley expressed that she would "swipe right," meaning that she would go on a date with the Bravo star.
In fact, Salley also defended her co-star after he was slammed by his ex and even her Summer House co-stars for not defending her when she was rumored to have cheated on him. She told Decider, "I mean, I obviously have Craig’s back and I don’t think that he should have been obligated to say anything or speak up."
She continued, "And I think that he chose silence. And I think that was good of him. He got broken up with and that sucks. And then he feels the pressure from the audience to talk about it. I don’t know, I think it was easier for him to be silent in those moments.”
Salley Carson Is Open To Getting To Know Craig Conover
When fans first met Salley on Season 10 of Southern Charm, she was dating a man named Andrew Dietz, but they have since split. In fact, it was another weird connection between her and her co-star Taylor Ann Green, as Salley had dated Taylor's current boyfriend, Gaston Rojas, and once slept with Shep Rose, her ex.
Prior to her WWHL appearance, Salley was asked by Bravo's The Daily Dish about a possible romantic connection with Craig as the two were both single. She admitted that they are just friends, but the "door is open" regarding the two taking things further.
"You know, I'm still getting to know him, so I can't say if I would ever see him as [someone with] potential, but he's hot as s***. So, the door is open."
She was also asked about her "date night" with Craig, stating, "Me and Craig are good friends, and we're becoming even closer friends now."
According to RealityBlurb!, Salley and Craig were spotted having dinner together in New York City, which had Southern Charm fans going into a frenzy. But, she clarified in her WWHL appearance that it might have just been a friendly dinner date after the pair filmed the Season 10 reunion.
Even if the two co-stars did end up dating, would fans support it? Should Craig find himself involved with another Bravo star?
Craig Conover Admitted To Downloading A Dating App After His Split From Paige DeSorbo
In February, Craig appeared on the Tamron Hall Show where he was asked if he was starting to date again after having been single for about two months. The Southern Charm star admitted that he downloaded a dating app, but being single was new to him, calling it a "weird" chapter in his life.
"I’m trying to move forward, so I downloaded a dating app, and it wasn’t what I — I didn’t feel as good as I thought it would be."
Craig continued, "I’m still healing on myself, because I really did think I was gonna spend my life with Paige, and it’s OK, but I don’t think rushing into something." However, he then backtracked by stating, "Well, I don’t know. If the right person comes around..."
The Sewing Down South owner appeared to be unsure of how to move forward with being a single man after having been with Paige for three years. He told the host that he had "never done this before," but added, "I just think for me, I think it’s about going back to my routine and living my life, and if I meet someone through that, then just go with it, but I’m not gonna overthink it."
In January, when Craig appeared on WWHL, which was his first-ever interview since his split with Paige, he admitted that he went through phases after his breakup that included denial, anger, and depression. During one of those phases, Craig downloaded the exclusive dating app Raya, but found it to be useless, sharing that he got the app "after a certain stage and stuff that I found out." However, it wasn't for him, telling Andy that it “didn’t feel as good as [he] thought.”
