Season 32 “Dancing With the Stars” competitor Mauricio Umansky was rumored to be getting cozy with his ballroom pro partner, Emma Slater, on the show. While the two denied that anything romantic was going on between them, some new information may suggest otherwise.
On the November 26 episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Sutton Stracke revealed that Umansky replaced a picture of Kyle Richards with one of Slater.
“After I talked to Kyle, she seemed a little down. There was a story she told me about a picture,” Stracke said. She explained that Umansky had “replaced the picture” of his wife in his office with a picture of “the woman from ‘Dancing With the Stars.'”
Another co-star, Erika Jayne, weighed in during a confessional-style interview.
“Why are you replacing a picture of your wife with your ‘Dancing With the Stars’ partner? All that’s gonna do is make people talk more. It doesn’t help, it actually hurts,” she said.
Slater was previously married to DWTS pro Sasha Farber. While competing on DWTS, Umansky and Richards were separated.

Rumors about Umansky and Slater started flying after photos uploaded by TMZ appeared to show them holding hands after they left a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Then, a source told Page Six reported that the two were kissing at the bar.
It didn’t take long for Umansky and Slater to deny the rumors.
“We do want to address this story,” Umansky said in a video posted on Instagram Stories on October 26, 2023. “About whether or not Emma and I are dating. Whether we went out on a date. For full clarity, we are not dating. We are really good friends. We’ve been dancing together now for six weeks, four hours a day, every single day,” he added.
“We went to a restaurant to go get some sushi, right after rehearsal. We were in our rehearsal clothes. Lots of the stories are wrong,” Umansky continued.
“It’s a very intense week. A very emotional week. We were talking about the week during dinner and when we came out of dinner, we were recapping and I reached out to grab Emma’s hand and she grabbed my hand and then we walked to the cars, just recapping and summarizing. And then the paparazzi caught that moment. And it’s become a blown out moment,” he said.
Flash forward to 2024 and Umansky has been romantically linked to Nikita Khan, per photos posted by TMZ. Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that Slater has been “hooking up” with her DWTS co-star, Alan Bersten.
