In a blistering tirade that pulls no punches, Southern Charm alum Thomas Ravenel is finally speaking out — and he’s placing the blame for years of chaos squarely at the feet of Kathryn Dennis.
According to Thomas, Kathryn didn’t just cause drama. She orchestrated it, manipulating everything — from custody battles to explosive cast feuds — in a desperate attempt to remain the show’s main character, no matter the collateral damage.
“She never wanted peace. She wanted attention,” Thomas says. “If that meant tearing our family apart on camera or destroying friendships off it, so be it.”
“She Used the Kids Like Chess Pieces”
Thomas claims Kathryn repeatedly weaponized their children to gain sympathy and control, both in court and in the public eye.
“It was never about what was best for them,” he says. “It was about what made her look good, what made me look bad, and what kept her in the headlines. I’ve never seen anything like it.”
According to Thomas, co-parenting with Kathryn was less about parenting and more about power — power she wielded with threats, lies, and media spin.
“When the cameras were off, the real Kathryn came out — and trust me, she wasn’t fighting for her kids. She was fighting for her storyline.”
Targeting Cameran for a Plotline
Thomas also slammed Kathryn’s calculated attack on Cameran Eubanks — a longtime castmate who had already stepped away from the show — accusing her of deliberately dragging Cameran’s marriage into the spotlight to create buzz around herself.
“Cameran was out. She had moved on. But Kathryn couldn’t stand not being the center of attention,” Thomas says. “So she made Cameran the villain in a lie she spun herself — and when it exploded, she played the victim.”
He adds:
“Cameran had nothing to do with anything — and she got blindsided. That’s who Kathryn is. She’ll turn on anyone if it means staying relevant.”
“The Racism Scandal Was Her Distraction Tactic”
In perhaps his most shocking claim, Thomas suggests the racism scandal that rocked Southern Charm wasn’t just bad judgment — it was a deliberate diversion.
“She needed a distraction from her own spiraling life,” he says. “So she started a fire and then stood in the middle of it, begging for sympathy while pretending she didn’t light the match.”
Thomas says the scandal tore the cast apart, and while the damage was real, the intent behind it was anything but innocent.
“She’s not stupid. She knew what she was doing. She just didn’t care who got hurt.”
No More Silence — No More Sympathy
While Thomas has faced his own share of controversy, he says he’s done staying quiet — especially when it comes to his children.
“She’s played the victim for years, but the truth matters now,” he says. “My kids deserve better. Cameran deserves better. Hell, we all do.”
“I may not be perfect, but at least I’m not hiding behind hashtags and crocodile tears.”
