Shep Rose‘s ex-flame, Sienna Evans, who has been a hot topic throughout the 10th season of Southern Charm, took to her TikTok page this week to shut down a number of rumors regarding their relationship, her communication with Whitney Sudler-Smith, and her grandmother.
As she offered a screenshot proving that Whitney, 56, reached out to her on Raya first and explained her grandmother’s interest in the show, Sienna explained how her relationship with Shep, 44, began, and more.
First, she clapped back at her villain edit on Southern Charm.
“I’m going to dispel all the mistruths and tell my side of the story because I feel like everyone has had the opportunity to say what happened and how they feel and their point of view, but I haven’t had the luxury or courtesy to explain my point of view, which I think is very important,” shared Sienna in a TikTok video.
In another TikTok video, she went on to clarify how she met Shep and her quick communication with Whitney on Raya.
“Shep and I did meet on Raya and at the time, his profile, it just made him look like a Southern boy who liked to fish. And he messaged me and he was like, ‘Oh, you’re from the Bahamas. I always go to the Bahamas. I love the Bahamas.’ And then I was like, ‘Oh, he’s cute,’” she recalled. “And that’s how we met.”
As for how she met Whitney, Sienna noted that the claims about her reaching out to him were “super off the wall” before confirming he direct requested her.
“He wasn’t even a connection of mine. He direct requested me and said, ‘Hi how are you?’ And I answered, ‘I’m good. How are you?’ That is the extent of the communication that I had with Whitney.”
According to Sienna, she had such little interaction with Whitney that she didn’t make the connection when she ultimately met him in Charleston.
“I did not recognize him … It was Shep who said, ‘Oh, Whitney says that he matched with you on Raya.’ And then I looked on my messages and I was like, ‘Oh, he was a catfish because he looks nothing like this in real life,’” she shared.
Sienna also spoke of Whitney in a second video and included a screenshot of their March 20, 2023, messages.

“I’m not a liar. I would not lie about that. And I wouldn’t have brought it up because, like I said, when I saw him I did not recognize him because he was a total catfish, and it didn’t even register because we didn’t even have a conversation,” Sienna continued.
Sienna went on to say that she and Shep connected on Raya a month after she received the request from Whitney, and she noted that Shep came off strong right off the bat.
“He’s inviting me up to Charleston. I’ve never met him before so I said, ‘I’m not really interested in going to see you because I don’t know you’ — I said that in my head. I denied his invitation to Charleston but I said, ‘You can come to the Bahamas whenever, and we can go out or have lunch.’ And he then says, ‘Okay, fine,'” she revealed.
From there, Sienna and Shep began communicating on Instagram and the phone.
“I still have never watched an episode of the show, and I don’t know that A, Shep and Whitney know each other, or that they are on this show,” she explained.
Moving onto her grandmother in her fourth video, Sienna admitted the woman was “a fan of the show.”
“Now, because she watched the show, does that mean that I was aware of the show or the characters of the show? No. I don’t think anybody knows what shows their grandparents watch and are familiar with all of the characters,” she reasoned.
As for how her grandmother ultimately learned that she and Shep were communicating, Sienna shared that the connection was made as they spoke of their online dating experiences.
“I say, ‘Hey, this is a person who I met on a dating app,’ and I show her the picture, and she says, ‘That is Shep. He’s on Southern Charm. I’m a fan of Southern Charm.’ I’m like, ‘Yes, he is on a reality show called Southern Charm,’” she recalled. “She says, ‘My friends … we watch the show and we love the show.’ And I’m like ‘Oh, that’s great. That’s so cool.’ And I call Shep and I said, ‘Shep, apparently my grandma is a fan of the show.’”
“Had I watched every episode of the show? No. Was I interested in being on the show? No,” Sienna continued. “At that point, I did watch the pilot of the show, but it didn’t move the needle for me … I really didn’t care that he was on reality TV. I have my own business here. I have my own life here. I was already signed to a major modeling agency.”
Southern Charm season 10 airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
