In a series of snaps, she wrote the words, “Missing my babies,” over an adorable photo of the siblings hugging, adding: “I try to keep from losing the rest of me,” before posting a solo shot of her with tears running down her face.
“But some days it be like that…,” the mom-of-two captioned the teary-eyed snap via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, September 14.
As OK! previously reported, the blonde beauty initially lost custody of her children because of her struggles with substance abuse. The reality TV star eventually checked into rehab, after her stint, she was awarded 50/50 custody with her ex, Thomas Ravenel.
Dennis and the former politician dated off and on before ultimately calling it quits in 2016. After their split, the battle over custody of their children began.
In 2018, after the 59-year-old South Carolina native was arrested for assault and battery, the 30-year-old Bravo star filed for sole custody, but a judge denied her request and ruled the two would continue to coparent.
Their arrangement stayed in place until earlier this year when a judge temporarily granted Ravenel sole custody with Dennis being allowed supervised weekend visitation.
As OK! spilled, Dennis vented her frustrations with the agreement last month. On Thursday, August 5, the entrepreneur shared a post from Instagram account “One Mom’s Battle” that did the speaking for her.
“It is exhausting to constantly defend yourself from someone who is trying to change reality — it can even make you question what you know happened, or what is true,” the post read. “It can be exhausting to live two lives: one for your children and for the world (everything is fine) and the other, where you are beaten down by the family court system. We see you and we stand with you. You are not alone.”
