Summer House’s Lexi Wood Says Ciara & Jesse Skipped Her Birthday to Hang Out Together, Addresses Their Flirting & Status With Ciara, Plus Slams Claims of Flirting With West

Summer House star Lexi Wood is dishing on a number of hot topics in a new interview, and she’s most notably touching on her ex Jesse Solomon‘s relationship with Ciara Miller.

As most Summer House fans are aware, Jesse and Lexi became a couple on the current season of the Bravo hit series almost instantly, and they had already become exclusive within their first month of being in the house. However, the couple faced some bumps in their relationship after Lexi heard about Jesse flirting with Ciara, and also having his toe sucked by a stranger in the house.

Speaking to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Lexi was asked about Jesse and Ciara’s flirtatious relationship, which has continued outside of Summer House. Just this week, Jesse and Ciara looked cozy in photos from Coachella. Lexi said she is not surprised due to something that happened off-camera.

“I am not necessarily surprised because I had a birthday party and I invited everyone, and a certain two people didn’t answer, and then a certain two people hung out that day instead,” said Lexi about Jesse and Ciara.

The conversation then went on to how she feels about Ciara and Jesse flirting. According to her, “I mean, I know if I’m not even allowed to hold West up, if I grind it on West half naked, it would probably have been more of an explosive conversation than him just being in his feels because that’s crazy now watching it back. But I also never knew anything until watching it with everyone else.”

She continued, “I think at the end of the day, I obviously, I like will always think the best of girls. And I always think girls should choose each other over boys. And the mentality of boys will be boys to me does not ever have any grounding in any space of my life.”

Ultimately, she said she hopes she and Ciara can be friends and that Jesse will have much to answer for at the reunion. She also said Ciara reminds her of friends from home and that she wants better for her. 

And speaking of West, the hosts discussed the most recent episode in which Jesse accused Lexi of flirting with West Wilson. The hosts called it manipulation, and she responded, “Yeah, 100 percent. I think watching it back, it really broke my heart because I was like, wow. If I was my best friend, what would I tell her?”

She continued, “I was just so upset because I was like, damn, I would never want my best friend to be treated like that, but somehow I was treated like that. There’s so much going on that I think it’s easy to just be like, okay, on to the next thing, on to the next conversation, on to the next dynamic in the house. I think the West and I flirting thing is ridiculous.”

Lexi added, “No offense, West. But him being Ciara’s ex, I immediately went into the house just already having a preconceived, like West is just a friend and that’s all he’ll ever be. Because, you know, I’m not trying to make her feel any type of way or that’s, I don’t know, just to me, he was immediately friendzoned.”
