Paige DeSorbo reacted to the news of Craig Conover‘s new relationship while appearing on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As the 32-year-old Summer House star also confirmed she’s dating, shaded Craig, 36, over his lies, his victim act, and for leaning into the cheating rumors against her, and explained her “breadwinner” comment, Paige addressed the Southern Charm cast, Hannah Berner, 33, and Amanda Batula‘s ongoing estrangement, and Andrea Denver, 33.
“I love it. I’m so happy for him,” Paige declared on the April 23 episode of WWHL when asked about Craig’s romance, reportedly with Natalie Buffett.
As for her love life, Paige said she was “absolutely dating people” when asked about a man she’d been spotted with on a number of occasions.
“Nothing serious, but having a very good time,” she explained after being photographed with Joe D’Amelio.
Then, after being questioned about Kyle Cooke, 42, characterizing Craig as a “liar,” Paige confirmed, “I think Kyle nailed it.”
After declaring that she was the breadwinner of her relationship with Craig, Paige admitted it was crazy that so many were “appalled” by the statement.
“I work more, so why would I not be?” she wondered.
Since their late 2024 breakup, Craig has made it clear that the split wasn’t mutual, and Paige noted “it wasn’t” on Wednesday as she shaded his “victim” behavior.
“I broke up with him, but I felt he was saying that because he wanted that, like, victim, like he wanted people to be like, ‘She did it. She caused this,’” she explained.
Paige also said there was a lot she’d like to counter that Craig said at the Southern Charm reunion.
“I mean, all of it. I loved listening to it because I was like, ‘What a fun story,’” she laughed.
One particular claim she found amusing was Craig’s suggestion that she wanted to get married at BravoCon.
“Do I look like the kind of person that has the phrase ‘convention center’ in her wedding invitation?” she asked.
At that point, Casey Wilson, 44, pointed out that while Craig has suggested he was “blindsided” by the breakup, Paige hinted it was coming “one million times in every shape and form.”
“Thank you, Casey,” Paige replied.
She then responded to Craig saying he didn’t need to defend her against cheating rumors.
“I feel like exes don’t owe each other anything, but we’re in a different situation, and I didn’t need him to defend me, but I needed him to not lean into it,” she reasoned.
As for whether fans were harder on her or Craig, and regarding Ciara Miller, 29, saying there’d been a lot of misogyny pointed at her, Paige continued, “There’s definitely misogyny in the world. I feel like I definitely got hit with a lot of it. I was not expecting as much as I got hit with, but I think we probably both got an equal amount of hate, which I never want.”
Looking to the biggest misconception fans have of her breakup from Craig, Paige said she doesn’t want people to think she was “leading Craig on.”
“I loved him. I wanted to marry him. That was very real,” she insisted. “And I think in the summer, you kind of see me go through all of those emotions in real time. I can see my brain working as I watch it back.”
Regarding the Southern Charm cast, Paige said that out of all the boys, she always “felt the closest” to Austen Kroll, 37.
“I feel like we always have the same humor,” she explained.
As for Shep calling Giggly Squad a “silly talk show,” Paige smiled and added, “Bless his heart. The poor thing.”
While it was initially difficult to manage her friendship between Hannah and Amanda, Paige revealed that it’s gotten easier as she mentioned a potential reconciliation between them.
“I would never say never, so who knows?” she asked. “And I’m gonna be honest, it’s not that hard. As the years have gone by, it’s gotten easier … I feel like they have such separate lives that it’s not as big of an issue … They never really run into each other.”
Also on the live broadcast, after denying she wished she had chosen Andrea over Craig years ago, Paige admitted that she wasn’t too concerned about the way her breakup was being directed.
“I’m on reality TV… we love ratings. We’re business people. No, so I’m fine. It’s kind of part of the operation, and I would take the hate 10 times over if it meant I’m at where I am in my life now. So I’m fine with it,” she declared.
Summer House season nine airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
