Bachelor Alum’s Time On Beach Was Short

Susie Evans’ arrival at the resort in Costa Rica sent shockwaves through the resort, especially for Justin Glaze and Lexi Young. Lexi had previously expressed reservations that Justin wasn’t over Susie yet. The pair dated for about a year after her split from Clayton Echard.

Justin and Susie talked after her arrival and agreed they weren’t there to rekindle anything. However, when it came time to hand out his rose, he offered it to Susie. At that point, she’d only been on a date with Jeremy Simon, but he gave his rose to Bailey.

But Susie didn’t want to take a rose meant for someone else. Justin’s attempt at kindness resulted in all three leaving the show. Jeremy tried to get Susie to come back, but she told him to focus on Bailey.

Susie Evans Admits Disappointing BIP Experience

Susie Evans joined Nick Viall on his podcast to spill tea on her brief appearance. According to Susie, the producers described one of the male contestants they thought she would connect with on the beach. While the producers didn’t use his name, she said that the description they gave matched Dale Moss.

But as viewers know, Dale immediately hit it off with Kat Izzo. Overall, Susie said that none of the men on the beach caught her attention, which she found disappointing.

She revealed that part of the reason why she was so emotional on BIP was that she had recently frozen her eggs.

Susie Evans echoed the complaints of fans that the rose ceremonies are too rushed and send too many contestants home at once.

Fans Call Out How Producers Treated Her Vs. Dale Moss

Susie Evans and Dale Moss were both the final picks on their respective Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons. While Susie and Clayton didn’t leave Season 26 together, they reconciled after filming.

But some Bachelor Nation fans felt the producers favored Dale over Susie. One fan wrote, “How they were treated by production was so different. Dale arrived in a boat and was instantly put on a pedestal. Susie arrived in the rain and felt like she was only brought there for the Justin/Lexi drama.”

Many viewers agreed that it was a mistake not to have Susie Evans there from the start.

  • “Susie and Justin ended up being such a waste! They should’ve brought Susie out day one or moved the rose ceremony to give her a chance.”
  • “They should have brought her on first sand. Especially if they liked the idea of her and Dale. The shows mistake was not bringing her on later on night one before everyone was pairing.”
  • “The show screwed her. She had no options besides Jeremy and Jonathon, who she is already friends with. Andrew came next; already friends. Sean next? No way she was coupling with him. She needed to be there day 1, and they needed more options from the start!”
