Tamra Judge hosted an “Ask Me a Question” session on her Instagram Story on Tuesday night, and during the chat with her fans and followers, she confirmed she’s still filming for the upcoming 19th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
After announcing her exit from the series in early March, Tarma, 57, admitted that this year hasn’t been easy as she described the new episodes with three words, gushed over her friendship with podcast co-host Teddi Mellencamp, 43, and looked back on her past battles with skin cancer.
“Please tell us you’re not leaving RHOC, I won’t watch it if you’re not on there! Lol,” someone wrote to Tamra on April 29.
“I’m still here, it’s been a very difficult year [and] I’m hanging on by a thread,” Tamra replied.
Another person asked Tamra to “describe this season of RHOC in [three] words, but don’t use basic words like ‘fun’ and sh*t.”
“Wait and see,” she teased, along with a series of laughing while crying emojis.
When a third person wanted to know if she and Teddi were “still besties,” Tamra confirmed that was the case, writing, “Love [Teddi Mellencamp] so much.”
Then, after someone else asked Tamra if she had experienced melanoma, as Teddi did before she was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer, Tamra revealed she had.
“I did [seven] years ago. Here is a pic before surgery. I’ve had many other types of skin cancer throughout my life,” she explained.
As RHOC fans may recall, Tamra came forward with her melanoma diagnosis in August 2017.
“I work out hard for this Booty. I was planning on competing again in November at 50 years old, but I’m not sure that’s happening now. It looks like God has a different plan for me. I’m showing you this picture because this is what melanoma looks like,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
“I don’t want sympathy, I want you to save YOUR a** and get your skin checked/ This was just a small black flat freckle…. I had no idea!” she added.
No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19.
