Teddi Mellencamp confused fans by commemorating the day she met her now-estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, amid their tumultuous divorce.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum posted three throwback photos on Instagram Thursday of her and the businessman in the early stages of their relationship.
“16 years ago me and @edwinarroyaveofficial met. I will forever be grateful for that night at Coco Deville,” she began the caption.
Mellencamp, 43, explained that after Arroyave, 47, introduced her to his “amazing” daughter, Isabella, she knew that she wanted kids of their own.
“My love for her changed my life and 5 years later came Slate, then Cruz, and then our miracle baby Dove in 2020,” she wrote.
“I may be far from perfect but being a mother has been the greatest gift you could have given me. Thank you always and forever,” she concluded, speaking directly to her soon-to-be ex.
The “Two Ts in a Pod” co-host disabled comments on the bizarre Instagram post, forcing fans to flock to X to express their confusion over her sentimental message.
“She needs to tell her husband and kids privately so it’s less performative,” one user wrote.
“She kinda making it sound like he died,” another posted.
“Ummmm . . . thank you for the hookup?” a third person quipped.
“Who asked for this Teddi? Haven’t you got his damn number? Congratulate him for impregnating you all them years ago by picking up the phone and calling your husband/baby daddy and leave me out of it!” an X user wrote.
“I don’t get it…why not tell him in person??? Why does this have to be shared like a public service announcement, to people who do not give a f–k?” one more netizen asked.
Many social media users also called out Mellencamp for penning the post after allegedly cheating on Arroyave.
Sources previously told Page Six that the former Bravolebrity had an affair with her children’s horse trainer and her close friend’s husband, Simon Schroeder, before filing for divorce in November.
However, we also heard that Arroyave had his own dalliance with a woman named Missy from 2015 to 2016.
The pair have stayed tight-lipped on the claims.
That said, the reality star, who is the daughter of rock star John Mellencamp, vaguely told her Instagram followers last month that she had “taken accountability and apologized” for her part in the separation.
The estranged couple, who wed in 2011, share son Cruz, 10, and daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 4.
