Teddi Mellencamp offered a couple of updates on her recovery post-brain surgery on her Instagram page on Wednesday.
Two weeks after the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star revealed on her Instagram page that doctors had found multiple tumors on her brain and she underwent emergency surgery to remove several of them, Teddi returned to social media, where she shared a video of herself, confirmed her staples had been removed, and revealed more tumors were taken out than expected.
In a clip shared to her Instagram Story, Teddi was seen sitting in a hospital chair with nurses around her. She was applauded upon the removal of the staples, and a scar was also seen on the back of her head.
“Good job, Teddi,” people were heard saying.

In another post, shared on her main page, Teddi offered a statement about her surgery and recovery.
“I am so grateful for the incredible surgeons, doctors, and nurses who made my surgery a success and my recovery process comfortable. In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: [Four] in total. This fight is not over, but that round has been won,” she began.
“The laughter, support, and patience of my kids, my family, and my closest friends is one gift with which words cannot properly express my gratitude,” she continued. “As I move on to the next steps in my treatment, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they’re definitely helping me stay strong.”
Following the sharing of her message, Teddi was met with support from her fellow Bravolebrities, including longtime friend Kyle Richards, 56, podcast co-host Tamra Judge, 57, and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Angie Katsanevas, 51.
“Teddi, I will forever be grateful to RHOBH for bringing you into my life. We will always have each other to lean on during life’s ups and downs. You have SO much love around you to help you get through this … Love you Teddi Jo!” Kyle wrote.
“I don’t know a stronger person than you, Teddi Jo. I love you so much, and you’ve got this,” shared Tamra.
And Angie added, “Sending you all the love and strength for a speedy recovery. You are a horse girl and nothing gets a horse girl down. When you get bucked off you dust those knees off and get back on again … You are a strong beautiful woman inside and out. Love you.”
