Teddi Mellencamp’s Friends Said She’s ‘Turned the Corner’ in her Recovery
Back on February 12, Mellencamp shared the news that she needed to have brain surgery.
“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months,” she captioned an Instagram post, in part.
In the time since, some of her closest family and friends have shared updates.
Heather and Terry Dubrow from “The Real Housewives of Orange County” shared some uplifting news.
“Well, obviously any information about Teddi will be given out by her family but what we do know is that, we heard a little bit of good news today, which we’re really happy about and we’re sending all of our good wishes and thoughts to Teddi and her family,” Heather told TMZ in an article published on February 22.
Dubrow’s husband, Terry, also weighed in.
“What we do know is she’s extremely brave. And we heard that she’s turned the corner a bit. So it’s very… I think very positive right now. Things are definitely looking up, we understand,” he said.
