Teen Mom star, Jenelle Evans, and David Eason were once very much in love and claimed that they were soulmates. However, things soon fell apart, and now they can’t even look each other directly in the eye. Recently, they finalized the divorce and are finally free to explore their options. Not like they were respecting their marriage anyway. After their marriage proceedings, the couple sat for a session to divide their assets.
If you have been following Jenelle’s life for a while, you’re likely aware that she and David frequently fought over their property in North Carolina. The couple divorced on July 11, and they have now finally divided their assets. However, while Jenelle got the house and a part of the land, David also got a part of the land from the same property. So, will that make them each other’s neighbours? It seems the chaos is far from over, and we’ll likely hear more about their fights in the days to come.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason finally settled their messy split through mediation. When it came to vehicles, David scored big, he took Jenelle’s BMW (yes, the one she’s still driving in Vegas), their boat, all the ATVs, and motorized toys. Jenelle kept one car, a motorcycle, a golf cart, and a lawnmower.
For jewelry, David kept the wedding ring and a drum set, while Jenelle walked away with the rest of the bling. But here’s the kicker, Jenelle must pay David $30,000 a month to balance the asset division. It’s not alimony, just part of their 50-50 split agreement.
Teen Mom: Jenelle Evans & Her Ex-Husband, David Eason, Will Turn Neighbors?
Jenelle Evans and David Eason were explosive together. They were toxic to each other. The couple had a number of fights and even some violent episodes, after which they decided that they should go their separate ways. Now that the couple is divorced, they have decided to split their assets.

The couple fought a lot over their house in North Carolina and also ‘the land.’ After the mediation, Jenelle agreed to keep the house while David keeps the workshop that sits just adjacent to the property. They also divided the land into two parts and assigned each to them. So this makes them neighbours? The couple also divided their vehicles, jewellery, and other assets they acquired during or before their marriage.
However, the land split specifically interests people as, in theory, based on what they divided, Jenelle and David are now neighbours. It will be a wild ride because he can technically build a house on the small parcel of land he got from the divorce. Similarly, Jenelle can return to her North Carolina home at any time to live with her kids. This would make them neighbours, and we can’t even imagine how horrible it would turn out to be.
As of now, Jenelle is living in Las Vegas with her kids as she shifted there for better career opportunities. David, on the other hand, is currently living with his girlfriend, Kenleigh. Their house sits roughly 40 minutes away from the specific land parcel in question. However, since David got a part of his workshop, he will mostly return to work there.
