‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Officially Does It

Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans has finally filed but what is going on in her life? She has a lot of balls in the air regarding her children and the possibility of returning to the MTV series. So, what did she file and is it going to make her life better? Keep reading for more details.

Jenelle Evans Finally Officially Files

A Teen Mom fan asked Jenelle Evans if her three baby daddies reached out to their kids. She stated that they did not, which was a very sad statement. As it turned out, that was not entirely true, as her firstborn, Jace, does have a relationship with his father, Andrew Lewis. So much so that he has moved to Florida so that he can live with him. Jenelle has had a rough relationship with her second baby daddy, Nathan Griffith, as he keeps getting into legal trouble. Furthermore, he made allegations about Jenelle’s estranged husband, David Eason, and his abusive ways.

David and Jenelle also have a daughter whom he does not see, so is she filing for sole custody? As it turns out, she has finally filed for divorce from David. They have been separated since early 2024, and it appeared that they would never officially divorce. In North Carolina, a couple has to be separated for a year before they can make it legal. Plus, they cannot be intimate, or that restarts the whole process. Jenelle has dated her manager, August Keen, while David has been with Kenleigh Heatwole.

The Teen Mom alum listed the date of separation as Fenruary 16th, 2024. In the filing, Jenelle stated this:

“At the time of the separation, at least one of the parties intended the separation to be permanent. Since the date of separation, the parties lived continuously separate and apart from each other and did not resume the marital relationship.”

 

Jenelle Evans has also asked that her last name be restored to her maiden name, as she did legally change it to Eason. She may have just filed to end the marriage, but a divorce party is well underway. Jenelle plans to celebrate in New York City this June:

“Reality TV’s most unfiltered star is flipping the script on heartbreak. Teen Mom 2alum Jenelle Evans is officially moving on from David Eason — and she’s not doing it quietly. Instead of sulking over the split, Jenelle is going full throttle with a no-holds-barred divorce party in the heart of New York City.”

A New Life Ahead

Jenelle Evans is looking toward her new life ahead without David Eason legally tied to her. She is allegedly in talks to return to Teen Mom after being let go twice. The first time was in 2019, and then again for this current season of The Next Chapter. It was believed that MTV cut ties due to her CPS investigation, and she seemed fine with the decision. After Jenelle left David, many speculated it was not genuine. They believe that she was only acting like it was over so she could get back on television and keep custody of Jace. Jace had accused David of assaulting him and refused to come back to his mom’s. When Jenelle was ready to leave David, Jace returned, which was a big deal.
