‘Teen Mom’ Jenelle Evans Puts Son’s Disorder On Blast

Former Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans is putting her son, Jace’s, disorder on blast over a week after calling the police on him. She has admitted that he struggles some but was not on medication. So, what is she saying now about him and his diagnoses? Keep reading for further details.

Jenelle Evans Puts Son’s Disorder On Blast

When Teen Mom alum, Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, was getting into trouble in 2023, her mother, Barbara, spoke out. She shared that Jace needed to be medicated and undergo therapy, but Jenelle was not being proactive. This was causing him to act out, and then it was revealed that Jenelle was allegedly giving Jace a weed pen to help calm him. In October 2024, Jenelle called the cops on Jace for destroying her home. This happened again in the middle of April 2025, as she wanted him put on an involuntary 72-hour hold, which didn’t happen.

Jace even maintained that his mother was lying about him and expressed his depression and sadness via social media. Jenelle shared that her son has ADHD and defiant disorder, but again, is still unmedicated. Now, she has reposted a clip sharing where his problems stem from, blasting his problems, and lacking accountability. Over a photo of Jenelle and Jace, it explained how someone can end up with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). It appears that a lack of discipline and supervision are triggers, along with abuse and neglect. Plus, a chaotic home life can contribute to ODD.

Jace was raised by Barbara from the time he was a baby until he was thirteen, going back to his mother in 2023. Within months of coming home, Jace proceeded to run away three times in two months. He blamed his stepfather, David Eason, for allegedly assaulting him and went back to Barbara. Even after Jenelle left David, the Teen Mom alum could not control Jace and his behavior. She has no problem sharing his disorder as he is crying out for help. No one thinks he’s a bad kid, they think she is a bad mother.

Blame It On Barb

After Teen Mom fans saw what Jenelle Evans had reposted, they believed that this was a dig at Barbara. Mainly because that is where Jace was raised, so Jenelle could not have possibly been responsible. Yet, when Jace moved in with Jenelle, that was when he acted out. More so, should Jenelle spend less time on social media and more time finding real help for her son? Viewers and followers had a lot to say regarding the situation:

• I don’t blame Jace, I do blame Janelle for not being the parent he needs.
• We are not judging Jace, we are judging Jenelle
• It’s still shocking to me that she shows not one ounce of gratitude to Barb for literally stepping up for Jace when Janelle continued to fumble through bad choices.
• It’s a sad attempt to blame Babs, however she and her running tally of soulabusemates have contributed significantly to everything that’s happened in all of the kids lives

It is very clear that whatever Jenelle Evans was trying to do to shed light on Jace’s disorder fell flat.
