Mackenzie McKee Welcomed A Pair Of Twin Girls Into The Family Back In Early June
Mackenzie first came to public attention when she was cast in the reality series, 16 & Pregnant back in 2011. She later appeared in the spin-off series, Teen Mom 3, and later Teen Mom OG.
Mackenzie’s first child, Gannon Dewayne McKee, was born in 2011. Following this, she had her second child, Jaxie Taylor, and her third child, Broncs Weston, in 2014 and 2016, respectively.

Following her separation with Josh McKee, Mackenzie announced her engagement to Jamaican soccer player Khesanio Hall in 2024. The following year, she announced that she was expecting twins.
Fans have been following Mackenzie’s pregnancy on social media since the announcement. On June 2, 2025, their twin daughters, Ja’Kharie Angie and Ja’Meikah Angella, were born through a C-section.
As previously reported, Mackenzie was originally only able to bring one baby home. At the time, she took to social media to share, “This is the hardest part of the twin NICU life. My heart is so happy to have my baby home with me, and so crushed that my other baby is being left at the hospital.”
The Babies Have Finally Been Reunited, To The Delight Of Fans
“They went from being in my belly together, to separate crib across the room, now completely apart. But one day very soon they will be side by side once again.”
In a recent update, however, Mackenzie had good news to share with fans. In a simple post, she wrote, “Home! With 2 healthy babies. God is good.”
The two could be seen lying down in side-by-side bassinets, with both girls sucking on pacifiers. One sister was in pink while the other was white. Both read, “Out NCIU,” with a peace sign, adding, “I’m moving in with my parents.”
On social media, fans were happy to see the two babies home at last with their parents. Quite a few fans shared their own experiences with newborn babies, including premature ones. Some comments included:
- “From a twin premie mom to another, keep them in the same bassinet. When they aren’t together they get cold and lonely.”
- “Are you going to put them together? They might like that being twins.”
- “So happy, if i can suggest you reunite them and keep them in the same bassinet, i promise they will sooth each other before they decide to cry out.”
- “Yay congratulations…you should put them in together…my husband is a twin and his mother said they use to sleep better together.”
