During a March 2025 interview with Access Hollywood, Abraham said she loves that her daughter is her own person and “doesn’t people please.” According to Abraham, when she was her daughter’s age, she “was really lost in [her] own journey” and “didn’t know who [she] was.”

“She makes me so proud to be a mom. And I love being her best friend. I’m so happy that she wants the best for me. My daughter is just amazing. I love having a teen daughter. I love that she’s 16. It’s like are there two teens in the house? But there’s definitely still that mother daughter dynamic,” said Abraham to Access Hollywood.

Abraham also said she has made the effort to heal herself while raising her daughter, fathered by her late boyfriend, Derek Underwood.
