“Teen Mom” star Briana DeJesus celebrated her decision to undergo a tubal ligation with a party, surrounded by loved ones.
DeJesus’ friend, Shirley, shared images and videos from the celebration, which “Teen Mom” personality Jade Cline attended, in a January 12 Instagram upload. In the brief clip, DeJesus blew out the candles on a heart-shaped cake. The party featured a large sign that read, “She tied her tubes.”
The social media post was shared on the “TeenMomOGandTeenMom2” subreddit. Several Reddit users shared they appreciated DeJesus’ decision to have a party after getting a tubal ligation.
“Good for her,” wrote a commenter.
“Oh this is cool!” added another.
“Eh, I think this is hilarious. Life shouldn’t be taken thy seriously and a little party for this isn’t a big deal, they’re just trying to have fun,” shared a third person.
Briana DeJesus Spoke About Her Dynamic With the Fathers of Her Children
In a June 2024 People interview, DeJesus spoke about her dynamic with her ex-boyfriend Devoin Austin, the father of her 12-year-old daughter, Nova, and her ex-boyfriend, Luis Hernandez, the father of her 6-year-old daughter, Stella.
“I try to co-parent with Devoin the best way I know how to, but I am the primary caretaker. Luis is MIA,” said DeJesus to the publication.
During the People interview, DeJesus also shared that her daughters “shine so bright!”
“As the girls get older, they start to voice their own opinions and feelings about things. I always make sure they feel heard and seen,” said DeJesus.
In addition, she shared what her daughters are most interested in.
“Nova loves to draw, sing, and play volleyball. Stella loves to get into my makeup bag and spends hours sniffing the perfect perfume to buy,” said DeJesus to the publication.
Briana DeJesus Addressed Fans Who Want Her to Get Back Together With Devoin Austin
While speaking to E! News in June 2024, DeJesus addressed fans who want her to get back together with Austin. She said that she is not interested in reconciling with her ex-boyfriend.
“Everybody wants us to be together, like they’re rooting for us and I’m sorry to break it to you guys, but that’s never going to happen. I’m sorry,” said DeJesus to the publication. “It’s not going to happen. I love him, but just as Nova’s dad. Nothing more.”
In addition, she shared she is not focused on dating.
“I think I do deserve a good partner. That’s what I want. But right now, that’s not my main focus. My main focus is spending more time with my kids,” said DeJesus during the E! News interview.
