The Halloween-themed episode of Dancing With The Stars recently took place, and The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei may find that his stint on the show harms his relationship with Kelsey Anderson. Joey remains a solid contender for the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy, while his former flame Jenn Tran was eliminated. Joey's athletic, and he's maintained an incredible momentum, staying near the top of the scoreboard week after week. However, even if he does make it to the finale night, he's certain to have a difficult time defeating current front-runner Chandler Kinney for the grand prize.
With the sizable amount of time and intense training he's invested in trying to win the competition, Joey would definitely feel a painful sting if he comes so close to victory but still loses in the finale. After all, he’s put his life on hold to diligently practice dance moves in order to remain the strongest male contender of the season. However, his diverted attention may create a sense of emotional distance that will have a negative impact on his relationship with his fiancée, Kelsey. In fact, with the couple still only engaged, more concerns on the horizon are inevitable.

The Competition Is Too Tough
Short of quitting or home voters disappearing, there’s no doubt Joey will make it to finale night on Dancing With The Stars. His dedication to control, infectious charisma, and ability to stay in character have all been complimented by the judges' panel week after week. However, his scores decreased on Disney night for the first time of the season. This is, in part, due to the persistent critiques he has specifically received on his techniques.
Joey has been told that he needs to improve his technical shortcomings, but no amount of jump splits or cartwheels can disguise his lack of finesse. He also accomplished partner lifts for the first time on the Halloween episode, but was told they looked unstable. Additionally, he performed a jive against Danny Amendola and won, which gifted him bonus points towards his total score. However, even that wasn't enough to land him the definitive number one spot of the night. This makes it seem like Joey will still come up short in the end, despite his best efforts.

Joey has faced significant pressure in the past few months, due to having relationship challenges with Kelsey and choosing to star in a new show before his wedding. Thus, a crushing defeat on Dancing With The Stars would likely cause a further rift in his relationship with his fiancée. There are signs that cracks are showing, as Kelsey isn't always jubilant in every camera shot that cuts to her. However, there have also been rumors swirling that the couple is headed for a break-up because they have not yet made it to the altar.
Regardless of what's taking place behind the scenes, Joey will need to do damage control to make up for being away from Kelsey for several weeks, while he was busy dancing with his beautiful Dancing With The Stars partner Jenna Johnson. The amount of tension that has been created would be too much for some couples to overcome. Hence, marriage counseling or individual therapy would be beneficial for Joey and Kelsey if the pair hope to make it down the aisle. Otherwise, the strain of real-world demands may spell the end for the future Mr. and Mrs. Graziadei.
