Even before Litia Garr was chosen as one of Grant Ellis‘ final 3 women on Season 29 of The Bachelor, she already had her mind made up about one aspect of the impending fantasy suite date. Grant gave Litia a rose after her hometown date during the Monday, March 3, episode, which means she will be one of the women who has the chance to spend the night with the day trader.
However, before the rose ceremony, she opened up to her mom about her fears regarding the fantasy suite.
“Next week is fantasy suites, so it’s, like, an overnight date,” Litia pointed out. “And I just think, like, it would hurt my feelings if he slept with other girls. I’m not going to sleep with him, so…”
Litia is dedicated to her Mormon religion, which was a focal point of her hometown date. However, her family assured Grant that they would accept him regardless of his faith, as long as he promised to have a connection to God. Litia’s mom asked her daughter, “Are you open to just keeping an open mind and not deciding before [about] ‘if he does or doesn’t it means this or that?'”
Litia responded, “I have to give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s always made me feel taken care of and safe and special. So it makes me feel like he’s different.” Litia did not bring up her fantasy suite concerns with Grant yet, but she did tell him that she was “falling in love” with him, which he had previously said to her.
While speaking to her mom, Litia opened up about when she knew she loved the former basketball star. “There was this moment that he talked about when he felt really lonely as a little kid,” she explained, later adding, “It made me so sad. It made me want to be there for him. I just pictured him as a little kid and it made me so sad. I want to give him a family that loves him. I want him to know what it feels like.”
Dina Lupancu was eliminated at the rose ceremony, which means Litia, Zoe McGrady, and Juliana Pasquarosa are three women who will have the opportunity to spend the night in the fantasy suite with Grant. But first, the previously-eliminated women will reunite for The Women Tell All special, which airs on Monday, March 10.
