The Golden Bachelorette Host Jesse Palmer Can’t Believe Joan Vassos Made This Confession After Mark Anderson’s Elimination Amid Red Flags

The Golden Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer admitted that he was shocked by Joan's lack of confidence after her hometown dates, which occurred after she said goodbye to Mark Anderson the week before. Joan chose Chock Chapple, Guy Gansert, Pascal Ibgui, and Jordan Heller for her Golden Bachelorette hometown dates, all of which were successful. However, Joan confessed to Jesse that she felt less confident about her connections with Jordan and Pascal after her hometown dates than she did before. She sent Jordan home, which means that Chock, Guy, and Pascal are her final three.

What Jesse Palmer’s Shock Over Joan’s Lack Of Clarity Means

Jesse Has A Lot Of Bachelor Nation Experience

Between being the star of The Bachelor season 5, and becoming the host of the Bachelor franchise shows in 2022, Jesse has a lot of experience with hometown dates. He's seen many leads go through the process, so his shock at Joan's lack of clarity about Pascal after her hometown dates is important. It shows that Joan might not be forming a strong connection with Pascal, which could mean that they're headed for a breakup in the coming weeks.

Our Take On Joan Vassos Having Doubts After Hometown Dates

Joan Knows In Her Heart What She Really Wants

If Joan is still unsure about Pascal, then perhaps it's time for her to say goodbye to him, like she did with Jordan. If she isn't feeling confident about the relationship, then she should trust her gut, and let him go. Joan has told Pascal on more than one occasion that she wasn't sure that he was really interested in her because of the way that he takes more of a backseat during group dates.

Joan shouldn't try to force something that isn't there with Pascal, just like she did when she said goodbye to frontrunner Mark. She felt that he wasn't ready for a relationship yet after his wife, Denise, passed away. Although Joan could relate to his pain because she lost her husband of 32 years, John, to pancreatic cancer in 2021, she felt that Mark wasn't at the same place as she was in his mourning journey.

Joan should shift her focus away from Pascal, and she should give all of her attention to Guy and Chock. They both have expressed that they're crazy about her, especially Chock, so she should put her energy into relationships that she can feel confident are headed in the right direction. Hopefully, Joan will make the right decision so that Jesse doesn't have to host yet another episode that he calls the most dramatic in franchise history.

The Golden Bachelorette airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
