Tom Sandoval, known for his role on Vanderpump Rules, has spent the last couple of years working on his public image after becoming one of the most talked-about reality TV stars. Recently, he gained some public favor with his appearance on America's Got Talent (AGT) and even sparked rumors of joining the reality series The Valley. Now, Sandoval is addressing those rumors and opening up about his future in the reality TV world.
Sandoval Talks About The Valley Possibility
In a recent interview with US Weekly, Sandoval revealed his mixed feelings about potentially joining The Valley. “As far as The Valley goes, look, it’s always nice to be asked for something like that,” Sandoval shared. “You know, it would, but as far as doing it, I mean, I don’t really have plans to do it.”
He admitted to having conflicting thoughts about returning to a reality show. “I have mixed feelings about it. Yeah, I don’t know. I really have enjoyed not showing up and just having to film where you just show up and you just talk about [stuff] all the time,” he explained, hinting at how his experience on Vanderpump Rules shaped his current approach to reality TV.
Sandoval's Return to America’s Got Talent
While The Valley might be uncertain, Sandoval is already preparing for his next appearance on America’s Got Talent. In June 2025, Sandoval and his band, The Most Extras, made their debut performance on the popular competition show with a rendition of "Take on Me" by A-ha. The performance was met with positive reviews, and now they’re gearing up for their next appearance on August 19.
When asked about the upcoming performance, Sandoval spoke about the process of earning America’s vote. “I think that it’s just gonna take a lot of hard work and passion,” he said. “When I watch people perform and I see them put their whole selves into a performance, it really moves me.”
For their next performance, Sandoval and his band will take on The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.” He revealed, “I’m a huge fan of ‘80s music. It’s tough not to wanna do an ‘80s song again. But that’s one thing I really want to show is the variety of songs that we play.”
The Band’s Unique Style
Sandoval also shared his excitement about showcasing the diversity of music his band plays. “One thing I love about our band is, yes, we do ‘Take on Me,’ but we also do a lot of deep cuts. We don’t do the normal songs that you would hear from every cover band,” Sandoval added.
Preparing for Success
Sandoval hasn’t just been relying on his natural talent; he’s been working hard to refine his skills. “It’s been a learning process, and I’ve been working with vocal coaches, and I’m continuing to work with vocal coaches and continuing to push myself,” he said, emphasizing his dedication to improving his musical ability.
Sandoval’s Future in Reality TV: House of Villains
While his future on The Valley may be unclear, Sandoval is certainly not done with reality TV. According to Bravo TV, Sandoval has been cast for the upcoming season of House of Villains, a new reality show that has already finished filming. The show will feature a mix of notorious reality TV stars, including Paul Abrahamian, Tyson Apostol, Jackie Christie, Drita D'Avanzo, Plane Jane, Johnny Middlebrooks, Ashley Mitchell, Christine Quinn, Kate Chastain, and Tiffany “New York” Pollard.
