Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz’s working relationship is far from over.
Months after shuttering their Schwartz & Sandy’s lounge, the Vanderpump Rules alums reunited for a special event across the Midwest. Tom Sandoval announced the news via Instagram last month, posting a concert flyer for his nine-member band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras.
Hours before the mini-tour’s kickoff, Tom Sandoval shared a promotional video alongside his longtime friend and former castmate, Tom Schwartz.
Tom Schwartz hits the road with Tom Sandoval & the Most Extras
“What’s up, everyone? It’s Tom Sandoval. I’m so excited because me and The Most Extras are coming to St. Charles, Illinois, this Friday,” he said in a June 19 Story. “And guess what? I have a special guest coming with me… There he is! Tom Schwartz!”
Tom Schwartz then stepped into the frame rocking a baseball cap and a pair of shades.
“That’s right,” Tom Schwartz said. “Coming out of retirement for one night only.”
“Me too,” Tom Sandoval said with a laugh. “We’ll see you there!”
The first show will go down on Friday, June 20 at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, Illinois; the June 21 concert will take place at District 142 in Wyandotte, Michigan; and the June 22 show will be held at Warner Vineyards in Paw Paw, Michigan.
In addition to the live music performance, each night will feature a meet-and-greet with the Toms. Ticket information is available at TomSandovalandtheMostExtras.com.
Tom Schwartz & Tom Sandoval repair their friendship
Since their inception in 2021, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras have embarked on multiple U.S. tours. Founder Tom Sandoval serves as the group's lead singer, covering well-known tunes that span different eras and genres. Tom Schwartz stepped out to support The Most Extras back in March, when he made an appearance at the band’s concert in his home state of Minnesota.
That reunion was a positive sign that the Toms were taking steps to repair their relationship, which was strained by their aforementioned business, Schwartz & Sandy’s. Tom Schwartz spoke about the tensions during an episode of The Valley After Show, saying money-related issues “almost destroyed” his friendship with Tom Sandoval.
"The financial aspect really put our relationship to the test," he said. "But I have closure... He's family for me. I'll always love Tom Sandoval."
Tom Schwartz shed more light on the relationship in the June 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, insisting he and Tom Sandoval were “in a much better place now.”
“I was very resentful for a long time,” he confessed, “but I’ve let that go, and I feel like we’re in a good place again.”
