The future of Vanderpump Rules is uncertain. It seems like filming VPR is a pretty low priority for the main cast members. Even so, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval haven’t given up hope.
Still, even Sandoval has plenty of other things on his plate. He was involved in The Traitors Season 3, which hits Peacock next year. Moreover, speculation abounds as to whether Tom will join VPR’s spin-off with his current and former stars.
Schwartz meanwhile doesn’t have many coals on the fire, at least not publicly. And even while Tom might have a few things lined up, Pump Rules is almost certainly his biggest nest egg. So, no wonder these two are hopeful.
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are looking forward to “what the future holds”
In a recent interview with the VPR stars, Schwartz told Us Weekly, “I don’t know what the future holds. I’m optimistic. I’d love to film again.” Sandoval shared a similar sentiment: “I’m excited to see what the future holds in that aspect.” Schwartz added, “This is my family.” I don’t think found family members usually normalize bad behavior toward their wives, but okay.
Schwartz continued, “I’ve been through everything so much in the past 14 years. I kind of grew up on camera, even though we started when I was in my late 20s. In a way, I sort of grew up and I love everybody. I see almost everybody, not everybody, but I’ve seen pretty much everybody on a fairly regular basis. I’m in touch with the whole crew, and I’m looking forward to filming.”
As for Sandoval, he shared, “I think when we come back, it’s going to be different. And, you know, what I’ve learned to do is just accept the future with open arms and see what happens. It’s all we can do.” Tom also suggested he was on his “best behavior” to ensure he’d see VPR’s future. “I just feel like there’s a lot of things coming up and with the future a little uncertain, I just want to wait and see what happens.”
