Tom Schwartz has become a big fan of The Traitors — and it’s thanks in large part to his good friend Tom Sandoval.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member weighed in on the series during a recent interview with the LadyGang podcast, hosted by Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin, and Jac Vanek. Tom Schwartz admitted he had not seen the first two installment of the U.S. iteration but was thoroughly enjoying Season 3, which finds Tom Sandoval competing for a $250,000 grand prize.

“I’m loving [The] Traitors. This is my first season,” he said in the January 28 episode. “I want to hear your guys’ take, like, maybe a 30-second take. Can we go around the room?… just Traitors in general.”
Keltie said she enjoyed the Peacock series because it featured a surreal mix of famous figures, many of whom are from the Bravo-verse.

“The fact that you’re mixing Boston Robb [Mariano] from Survivor and these people [from] The Challenge… and then with Housewives, and then with, like, Chrishell [Stause] from Selling Sunset, and Tom Sandoval, who looks confused the whole time. I’m like, when have you never had the main character energy? … He looks so out of his comfort zone.”

Tom Schwartz agreed and said he was amused by how Tom Sandoval was approaching the game.
“I like how earnest or how serious he takes everything,” he explained. “You know, he’s so unintentionally funny. Sorry, Tom, if you see this. He’s so unintentionally funny in Traitors… Those pit stains were remarkable. Sorry, Tom."
The “pit stains” comment was about a now-viral moment in which Tom Sandoval entered The Traitors’ breakfast room with heavy sweat marks under his arms. Tom Sandoval addressed the incident after the Season 3, Episode 2 premiere (January 9), admitting he “looked rough.”

“I also felt like sh-t,” he said in a January 23 Instagram Story. “I mean, I had, like, over 24 hours of travel, including an eight-hour layover, which made my immune system go to sh-t and cause the domino of problems.”
Tom Schwartz said his luggage also didn’t make it to Scottland before The Traitors started filming, which left hime “at the mercy of the wardrobe department.”
“They did a great job,” he insisted. “[But] they gave me the thickest wool sweater I’ve ever worn. And man, that thing, I was sweating my ass off. It was hot in there. And well, I’m only human. At least I can laugh at it now, as you guys all have.”
Tom Schwartz sheds more light on Tom Sandoval's "sweaty pit stains"
Although wool sweaters can cause overactive sweat glands, Tom Schwartz revealed that his longtime pal has always had a perspiration issue.
“I mean, I don’t want to put him on the spot, but yeah, Jax [Taylor] and Tom are notorious for having sweaty pit stains. But I’ve never seen anything like those.”
