“We Finally Found Our Forever”: Love Is Blind's AD Smith & Ollie Sutherland Spill on Dream Wedding Plans and the Costar Who Changed Everything

Amber Desiree "AD" Smith and Ollie Sutherland are in wedding planning mode!

The Love is Blind stars — who are also expecting their first baby together — opened up about their upcoming nuptials to PEOPLE at the Netflix Summer Break event on Thursday, July 17.

“We're planning everything every day, but we're taking it day by day,” Smith shares. “We're just enjoying every moment. Right now we have wedding thoughts, we don't really have too many plans.” 

“I'm enjoying being a fiancée, honestly, it's my favorite part,” she ads, while Sutherland chimes in, “We're planning to make plans. They're coming along, they're coming along.”

However, the cross-continental pair does have some ideas when it comes to the location of their wedding — and whether the U.K. or the U.S. would be more suitable.

“Here [in the U.S.], yeah, here initially,” Sutherland says. “But we might do another one in the U.K.” 

“In terms of specific location, I think maybe another beach location would be nice,” he explains, referring to their meet-cute on Season 3 of Netflix’s Perfect Match. “We met at the beach, we got engaged on the beach. Why not get married on the beach?”

The couple is also receiving plenty of support from their friends, including Smith’s fellow Love is Blind alum Giannina Gibelli. Smith told PEOPLE that she was able to snag some advice from the star on her podcast before she and Sutherland announced her pregnancy.

“[Gibelli] was just so in love with her son and her marriage and her husband, and she was just like, ‘Take it day by day.’ And that's really what we plan on doing,” Smith says.

This isn’t the first time they’ve chatted about wedding plans. During the March 11 episode of Smith's What's the Reality podcast, the couple discussed possibly having dual nuptials in the U.S. and U.K. 

"[We're getting] married here in the States so that, obviously, your family can be there and share the experience," Sutherland said. "And then some of my people will still come."

"For those who can't, I want a big thing in the U.K. as well, so that those who couldn’t make it to the stateside one can make it to the U.K. one. Plus, it gives us an excuse to have two big ceremonies, which I’m looking forward to," he added.

After meeting on Perfect Match, Smith and Sutherland fueled romance rumors after being spotted at an intimate dinner together in Mexico. However, the pair never publicly confirmed their romance — that is, until the March 9 reunion, where they also announced their engagement. 

Two months later, the reality stars revealed on Instagram that they were expecting their first child. In their post, they shared a video — set to Monica's "Angel of Mine" — walking together, with Smith's engagement ring on display, before resting their hands on Smith's baby bump.

She shared a sweet quote in the caption: "How you changed my world, you’ll never know."
