Brock Faber scored the go-ahead goal 2 minutes, 43 seconds into the third period and the Minnesota Wild snapped a four-game skid with a 4-3 victory over the division rival Chicago Blackhawks Monday night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
The Wild (21-10-4) overcame a pair of deficits on their way to the victory. Conor Bedard put the Blackhawks (12-21-2) on the scoreboard first with a goal 6 minutes, 47 seconds into the first period, but Kirill Kaprizov knotted it up 4 minutes, 24 seconds later with his 23rd goal of the year off assists from Marco Rossi and Mats Zuccarello.
Nick Foligno put Chicago back on top with a goal 6 minutes, 16 seconds into the second period, but Jared Spurgeon's goal knotted it back up just 49 seconds later.
That set the stage for Faber's go-ahead goal.
Marcus Foligno scored an empty-netter with 1 minute, 24 seconds remaining. Jason Dickinson scored with 33 seconds remaining for Chicago, but it was too little, too late.
Filip Gustavsson made 28 saves on 31 shots for the Wild.
The Wild return to action Friday when they visit the Dallas Stars for a 7 p.m. puck drop.
