Ariana Biermann Relationship Status With Kroy Amid Kim Zolciak Divorce | In Touch Weekly

Ariana Biermann grew up in the spotlight with her mom’s appearances on “Real Housewives” and their family reality TV show, “Don’t Be Tardy,” which aired for five seasons starting in 2012. As an adult, Ariana is embracing the limelight for herself and is one of the stars of Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC.”

A lot has changed in her life since she first appeared on television, and she is also trying to find a new normal amid her parents’ unexpected divorce.

Ariana Biermann Reveals Relationship With Her Dad Kroy Biermann

Ariana’s mother, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, and her father, former NFL star Kroy Biermann, announced their decision to divorce in May 2023, after 12 years. Their breakup has been messy (they attempted to reconcile, but that didn’t work), and in a recent interview with People on June 3, Ariana was asked about her relationship with Kroy (he adopted her and her older sister Brielle in 2013).

“It goes through waves a little bit,” Ariana told People. “The divorce has been very difficult and very messy, and my mom is my best friend, and it’s really hard to watch. A lot of these things go on, but I try to keep it separate, so we go in waves.” Although her communication with Kroy does not appear to be everyday, she did say in her interview that they were “going to talk soon.”

Fans of Ariana and her family are aware that she has an incredibly close bond with her mom. Their relationship is often highlighted by the sweet posts they make on Instagram, including a recent tribute post Ariana made for Kim on her birthday on May 19. In the caption, she referred to her as “my best friend and my biggest inspiration.”

What Does Kroy Biermann Think of Ariana’s New Reality TV Show?

Ariana also revealed that Kroy has been supportive of her new show, “Next Gen NYC.” The show features ten adults who, like Ariana, grew up surrounded by fame. It premiered on June 3 on Bravo, and is available to stream on Hulu + Live TV. In addition to Ariana, other “Real Housewives” kids included are Brooks Marks, Riley Burruss, and Gia Giudice.

But how does Kroy feel about Ariana joining another reality TV show? “He hasn’t said anything about it since it came out or anything,” she told People. “But you have to sign a release for these things in order to talk about things, and he was willing to do that for me and was okay with me sharing my story and the things that have gone on over the last couple of years, and he’s been supportive in that.”
