Bachelor Nation fans got to know and love Kaitlyn Bristowe and Ben Higgins as our Bachelorette and Bachelor, respectively.
Before he was the Bachelor, Ben was a cast member on Kaitlyn’s season, and on a recent appearance on her podcast “Off the Vine,” he shared a behind-the-scenes story from their breakup on the show.
Before Ben officially left, Kaitlyn shared that she knocked on his window to say goodbye and Ben chimed in, saying, “Then you mooned me.”
And Kaitlyn was shocked, saying, “I did?!”
The former Bachelor couldn’t believe Kaitlyn didn’t remember, saying, “You stuck your butt cheeks against the window. You mooned me! I was sad walking around the lake, sad it was over, and then you were like, ‘Butt.’”
Ben went on, saying, “I was like, ‘This is hilarious.’ I was looking for any sense of validation at that point. At least I had a free treat as I flew home from Ireland.”
Kaitlyn shared the post on social media and wrote, “The ultimate Bachelor send-off you didn’t see on TV! Kaitlyn mooned Ben after sending him home… Nothing says closure like a full moon through a window.”
