Former Eagles receiver showing Chargers fans what he rarely did in Philadelphia

It's rare to see Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman have a miss in the NFL Draft. There's one that haunts Eagles fans, but now could be an asset to another team.

Former Eagles wide receiver Jalen Reagor is showcasing the blazing speed that Roseman initially admired about him in the 2020 NFL Draft during Los Angeles Chargers practice. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert connected with Reagor on a deep pass that required Reagor to reach out and grab.

That would have been really cool to see when Reagor was in the midnight green uniforms

Every Eagles fan remembers the painful memories of the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft where Roseman selected Reagor with the 21st overall pick. The next pick? Justin Jefferson to the Minnesota Vikings. Still hurts to this day.

Reagor has been widely seen as one of the biggest busts in Eagles history, as he only played two seasons with the team. He caught 64 passes for 695 yards and three touchdowns, while also returning a punt for a touchdown.

Before the 2022 season, the Eagles traded Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings, where he would spend just one season. He went on to play for the New England Patriots in 2023 and the Chargers last year.

The timing of Reagor making a spectacular pass couldn't have come at a better time with the Chargers finding out that receiver Mike Williams announced his retirement from football. It appears Reagor has a chance to earn some playing time.

As for the Eagles, it all worked out well for them as they went on to draft DeVonta Smith and trade for A.J. Brown, so Roseman worked his magic to make every fan forget about the disastrous Reagor pick. Everyone has a happy ending and Eagles fans can go back to forgetting the horrendous memories of Reagor's underwhelming performance at The Linc.
