“Bachelor in Paradise” alum Jared Haibon shared on Instagram that he has started a new heartwarming family tradition with his son Dawson.
“Dawson and I went to our first movie together the other night! Going to our local theater has always been a big part of my life,” Haibon shared, along with a photo of Dawson at the movie theater.
“My family and I used to go all the time and we would bond over movies. I’ve always wanted to make a tradition of taking my family to the movie theaters,” he explained. Haibon’s collage included videos showing Dawson toddling down the hallway at the movie theater and sitting on his lap.
Dawson is one of the two kids that Haibon shares with his “Bachelor in Paradise” co-star Ashley Iaconetti Haibon. She liked his post.
Jared Haibon Revealed That He Took Dawson to See ‘Sonic 3’
Haibon shared that watching Dawson experience a movie in the theater for the first time caused him “pure joy.”
“Dawson is still a little young for most movies (duh) but going to see Sonic 3 with him was pure joy for me. They played the Mission Impossible trailer before the movie and being with Dawson for the first time he saw the biggest movie star on the biggest screen meant a lot to me!” Haibon wrote.
“He also said he wants to see Superman there which obviously melted my heart,” he shared.
Haibon also shared a photo recently showing him with his wife and actor Tom Cruise.
“I’ve been watching Tom Cruise movies all my life. I actually remember when the first Mission Impossible came out. After seeing it, I would run around my house pretending to be Ethan Hunt while yelling RED LIGHT! GREEN LIGHT! (If you’ve seen the movie then you’ll get it.)” Haibon wrote, again reinforcing his love of movies.
“I’ve seen a Few Good Men at least 25 times, we incorporated Iines from Jerry Maguire into our wedding ceremony, and don’t get me started on Top Gun. He’s my favorite actor and I’m happy to report that meeting him was one of the most fulfilling moments of my life,” wrote Haibon.
“He truly gave Ashley and me his time and full attention for a few minutes on Sunday AND Monday,” he added.
Added Haibon, “He told him how much his movies have meant to us and how they’ve played a role in our relationship since I quoted the full “You Had Me at Hello” scene during BIP2.”
