Tom Sandoval and Kristen Doute’s relationship has certainly gone through many ups and downs, which were shown on Bravo’s hit show “Vanderpump Rules.”
And it was clear during the heavily publicized Scandoval that Doute was on Ariana Madix’s side, even coming to comfort her when she first learned of Sandoval’s cheating. However, it seems the two are looking to move forward as they both enter different phases of their life.
Sandoval was recently featured on “America’s Got Talent” with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras. And it seems after the episode aired, Doute reached out to her ex-boyfriend.
“Luke (Broderick) and Kristen both reached out to me,” Sandoval told E! News. “Of course, I congratulated Luke and Kristen on Kaia Lily, because I know they just had their baby.”
But, this isn’t the first time they have spoken since Doute left the show.
“We talk to each other from time to time. Especially Luke, I see him more often,” Sandoval added.
And he also told the outlet that fellow “Vanderpump Rules” stars Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, and Tom Schwartz all showed him support during his audition. Schwartz was even there with him!
“The outpouring of support, I feel so blessed and lucky to have friends like that are giving me so much love,” he explained. “It’s been really awesome. I appreciate it.”

In an episode that aired on Tuesday, June 24, Sandoval and his band performed a cover of A-ha’s hit song, “Take on Me.” But before he started singing, he explained why the last few years have been so tough.
“A couple of years ago, I made some really bad choices,” Sandoval said to the cameras. “I was involved in a very bad cheating scandal, and I let down a lot of people.”
“It pretty much destroyed my life,” he continued. “It was absurd how much coverage and how big it became. Ever since then, it’s like everything I do is completely criticized. I feel a lot of pressure.”
Then, when he took the stage, Simon Cowell pointed out that he’s friends with Lisa Vanderpump and asked about his transition to music.
“With being on a reality TV show, that’s very much about your personal life,” Sandoval detailed. “And a couple of years ago, I was involved in a scandal and I was labeled as the ‘Most Hated Man in America’ by The New York Times. It was really, really rough and I was in a very, very dark place. I felt as though I had nothing in my life and this band was the only thing that kept me going.”
After Sandoval told the judges about the scandal, Cowell joked, “Let’s get America to like you!”
Then, as he began setting up, the judges turned to one another, with Sofia Vergara asking Howie Mandel, “What was the scandal?”
“He slept with his girlfriend’s best friend,” Mandel responded.
“No wonder nobody likes him then!,” Mel B chimed in.
“Because of that, he became the ‘most hated man’ [in America],” Vergara asked.
“Do you know how not interested I am in any of that stuff,” Cowell said.
Kriste Doute Gifted Andy Cohen The Infamous Green Dress
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” on April 22, Doute gifted Bravo host Andy Cohen the green dress that she wore when she picked up her cable box from Sandoval’s apartment after they broke up.
“I’m a different kind of crazy now, so we’re gonna retire the green dress at the Clubhouse,” she said as she handed the dress to Cohen.
“Oh, is this the original dress? Oh my God,” Andy responded. “This is you coming to pick up the cable box?”
“Yup,” she said. “That’s it.”
