“The Bachelor” lovebirds Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson are still going strong a year after filming their final rose ceremony. As Graziadei prepares for the season 33 finale of “Dancing with the Stars,” he teased a key tidbit about the wedding plans he is creating with Anderson.
Graziadei talked with Us Weekly on November 23 about one big decision already made. He shared that his “Dancing with the Stars” partner, Jenna Johnson, will choreograph his first dance with Anderson after their wedding ceremony.
“She already has that title,” Graziadei joked of Johnson having the honors of choreographing that dance.
Johnson quipped, “I hope it doesn’t take a mirrorball [trophy] to win that title.”
Graziadei promised there is no mirrorball trophy requirement. “She has that title for everything she’s done.”
Fans thought having Johnson choreograph their first wedding dance was a fantastic plan.
“Omg that would be so awesome Jenna is a great dancer great mama great wife she’s great at anything she does,” gushed one Instagram user.
Another fan shared, “That’s great. She’s an amazing choreographer and he really is nailing the dances. He should be the winner!!”
In September, Anderson talked to Woman’s World about the couple’s wedding plans. “We rushed our engagement, and we don’t want to rush marriage, so we’re taking our time,” she explained.
Anderson added, “Within the next six months, I think we’ll have a date and a location … but it’s kind of on pause right now because ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is a lot of work. He’s training 24/7 and is pretty tired after the training. So we just like to relax.”
As Us Weekly noted, Anderson and Graziadei recently celebrated the first anniversary of their engagement on November 12.
“The Bachelor” couple moved from New Orleans, Louisiana, where Anderson lived, to Los Angeles, California, so he could join “Dancing with the Stars.”
The couple hadn’t intended to stay in Los Angeles after “Dancing with the Stars.” However, Graziadei recently revealed that has become their plan.
During an appearance on the “Lightweights Podcast” on November 12, he explained, “I’m really excited we’ve decided to stay in L.A. and I’m excited for us to build a home together.”
He added, “We got an apartment and I cannot wait to make it feel like something that’s really ours.”
