Could Paige DeSorbo be returning to reality TV?
“Summer House” star Lindsay Hubbard teased the possibility of a spinoff while speaking with Us Weekly on Wednesday, June 11.
Rumors have been circulating amongst fans that we might soon see a spinoff with potentially Hubbard, DeSorbo and Amanda Batula as they navigate New York City.
“I think the fans are onto something,” Hubbard told the outlet and apparently winked twice to the camera.
Hubbard expressed how she is sad to see DeSorbo exit the wildly popular Bravo show. However, she said she believes she will be back.
“I don’t think she’s gonna be gone forever,” the mom of one said. “I don’t think, you know, we can fully let her go.”
DeSorbo Already Said She Would Be on Reality TV Again
DeSorbo announced her departure from the show on Thursday, June 5, via her Instagram story. While she said her time on the show would be coming to an end, she is not going away forever.
“And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise,” she stated. “So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.”
Prior to DeSorbo announcing she was leaving “Summer House,” she told Parade in May that cast members are the last to know what is going on with the possibility of future filming.
“So if there were to be a spinoff, you guys would literally find out before me,” she told the magazine. “I have no idea, and everything I read or I see, I read it online too.”
She added that she would be all for the possibility.
“I love attention, so I love being on TV. I’m very open to, like, all possibilities of TV stuff,” the “Giggly Squad” host added.
DeSorbo Already Has a New Project
DeSorbo launched a new loungewear line called Daphne on Tuesday, June 10. The 32-year-old revealed the news to InStyle prior to officially leaving the show.
“This is one thing where I can say it’s a full-circle moment,” DeSorbo told the outlet. “I’m so happy that I didn’t do it sooner because I don’t think it would’ve been as authentic as it is right now.”
The line is sold out as of Thursday, June 11.
The Daphne website described the origin of the brand. It “began with a search for loungewear items [DeSorbo] could not find: pieces that were chic yet comfortable, cute yet updated, and, above all, pieces anyone could roll out of bed in and still wear to coffee.”
