Lindsay Hubbard opened up to Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula about the challenges in her relationship with boyfriend Turner Kufe on Wednesday’s finale episode of Summer House.
As she also spoke about her potential season 10 return, Lindsay, 38, who welcomed daughter Gemma with Turner in December 2024, admitted that she and Turner would’ve likely broken up if it weren’t for her getting pregnant so soon into their romance, and she suggested that she “compromised” in their relationship.
“Thank God for Turner. I mean, he’s incredible, you guys. The things that this man has done. He’s the best guy that you could be in this situation with,” Lindsay gushed on the May 21 episode of Summer House after introducing her baby girl to Paige, 32, and Amanda, 33, at her apartment.
But that doesn’t mean that everything is sunshine and rainbows between them. As she explained, they have one “major issue.”
“The one conflict that we have is that he’s private and I’m public, and it causes a lot of turmoil because I don’t think he fully wrapped his mind around how public somebody is who’s on TV,” she shared. “I’m constantly trying to figure out, like, what is acceptable for him or not, and it’s a big conversation we’re having right now. But like, if I didn’t get pregnant, I don’t know if we would’ve stayed together.”
“For me, it’s like, I wouldn’t have compromised,” she added.
Then, during a confessional, Lindsay told a producer that Turner was “by far” the most private guy she’d ever dated.
“I’m not really used to that. This is weird, but we’ll see how it goes. The last time I rearranged my whole life for a guy, look where I wound up,” she reasoned, signaling her August 2023 split from Carl Radke, 40.
During another scene from Wednesday’s episode, Lindsay spoke of her future with the group as she reminisced with Danielle Olivera, 36, and Kyle Cooke, 42, about their past summers in the Hamptons.
“God, we’ve gone through so many summers,” Danielle stated. “It feels like the end. It truly does.”
“No. It doesn’t feel like an ending for me,” Lindsay replied.
“But at a certain point, you know, you’d like to think that there’s a next chapter brewing,” Kyle added.
Still, Danielle insisted, “You are delulu if you don’t think this is an ending.”
Meanwhile, in a confessional, Lindsay further discussed the matter.
“I’m in the process of going through an identity crisis,” she admitted. “Think about it: This is a huge transitional year for me. Like becoming a mom is a huge transition in and of itself.”
“It’s not like I can live in a party/share house, right? So, like, what does that mean? I don’t know. How am I going to make my money? I don’t f*cking know. Where do I go from here?” she wondered.
The two-part Summer House season nine reunion begins airing next Wednesday, May 28, at 9/8c on Bravo.
