Scheana Shay may have titled her upcoming memoir My Good Side, but the Bravo star could soon have her former boss Lisa Vanderpump on her bad side.
While appearing as a guest on Thursday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, a fan asked Lisa to weigh in on recent comments Scheana made about her– a question that appeared to catch the restauranteur off-guard as host Andy Cohen had to interject to provide some context.
“[Scheana] said she’s spilling a lot of tea about you [in her upcoming book],” Andy explained, to which Lisa responded, “About me?! Oh, good Lord.
“Well, that’s probably just to sell the book because she hasn’t got anything else to say,” Lisa continued.
The rumor of Scheana’s alleged tea spilling began after Kristen Doute of The Valley revealed on an episode of The Bitch Bible podcast last month that Scheana told her “there’s a lot of tea about Lisa [in the book] that the world would like to know about.”
Earlier that month, Scheana had claimed on the Two T’s With a Pod podcast that she doesn’t speak to Lisa often, but that Lisa “usually calls when she needs something.”
While Lisa went on to admit Thursday on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that she had heard that Scheana “said something nasty” about her recently, she also revealed that Scheana’s claim was somewhat true.
“ … She said something like, I only call her when I need something,” Lisa said. “True that, right? I’ve got 600 people to work with … .”
Lisa said she believes the last time she “needed” Scheana was when she called to invite her to her grandson Teddy’s birthday party.
While Scheana and Lisa are seemingly on relatively good terms with one another– at least for now– Scheana went on to call out Lisa (again) on the latest episode of her Scheananigans podcast in response to Lisa allegedly encouraging Ally Lewber to forgive ex-boyfriend James Kennedy after the DJ was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence in December.
On Friday’s episode of her podcast, Scheana told listeners she was “not shocked” to hear what Lisa said to Ally, claiming that she has “received similar calls” from her former boss, as have “a lot of us in the group.”
“Ally called me right after that and she was pretty upset because someone like Lisa– you know, either a person in power or a woman we look up to, someone who can be very impressionable on us– we take what they say highly into consideration … ,” Scheana said.
Scheana claimed that the conversation with Lisa made Ally question her decision to call it quits with James, though Scheana assured Ally that she had done the right thing.
“ … anyone trying to convince [Ally] to stay in an abusive relationship just because it wasn’t physically abusive, like, shame on you,” Scheana added.
Meanwhile, Lisa remains unbothered by Scheana’s comments as of late and even spoke favorably of her on Thursday’s episode of Jeff Lewis Live while playing a game called “Vanderpump or Vanderdump,” where she was asked which (if any) of her former SUR employees she would ever consider rehiring. During the segment, Lisa revealed that she’d “always give Scheana her job back,” noting that she “was a great server.”
“ … But I don’t think she wants [the job],” Lisa added.
