Senegalese Lebanese entrepreneur Chafic Yactine was the number one choice for three girls - Nour, Hajar, and Dounia on 'Love is Blind, Habibi'. Nour had also warned her fellow girlmates to stay away from him. But he rejected Nour and Hajar to build his relationship with Dounia.
In case you don't remember, during one of Chafic and Nour's pod dates, the Lebanese model gifted a book to him with his Instagram caption written on it. Later, during a group get-together, Nour refrained from acknowledging Chafic's presence, which he found disrespectful. It was later revealed that Chafic and Nour had interacted in the past on Instagram, so they knew each other before joining the show.
In a recent interview with KT Plus, Chafic reacted to receiving his favourite book with the quote that he had on his profile. Was it a coincidence? Chafic said, "Well, I don't think so but me and Dounia have moved on one week after the reunion episode. I leave it behind because it's one percent of my life."
He added, "I'm not even thinking about this anymore. For me, 'Love is Blind, Habibi' is done. It was a part of my life for a certain time and I'm proud of it. I'm proud to have worked with Netflix but it's a part that we have moved on."
