The Minnesota Vikings have always been a team to continue looking to add pieces to the roster. Earlier on Tuesday, the made a change on the practice squad to add offensive lineman Marcellus Johnson.
They didn't stop either as they brought in linebacker Kwon Alexander for a visit. The news was first reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

The former LSU product was a fourth-round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent his first four seasons with them before spending parts of two seasons with the San Francisco and the New Orleans Saints while also spending a year with the New York Jets and last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He made his only Pro Bowl in 2017 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when he was all over the field grabbing three interceptions and 97 tackles. After that, it's been a littany of injuries for Alexander. He tore his ACL in 2018, pectoral and biceps in 2019 and an Achilles tear in both 2020 and 2023.
What could Alexander provide the Vikings in 2024? Veteran depth. It's likely that the front office doesn't completely trust Brian Asamoah II and Kamu Grugier-Hill as their depth players. If he looks healthy, it might be a smart move to add him to the practice squad.
