Mother of Love Is Blind’s Tyler Francis’ Kids Clarifies Her Apology to Ashley Adionser

The mother of Love Is Blind star Tyler Francis’ three children, Bri Thomas, took some time to clarify her apology to his now-wife, Ashley Adionser.

Ashley, 32, claimed that Bri reached out and apologized to her and Tyler, 34, when she sat down with Nick Viall during the Wednesday, November 6, episode of “The Viall Files” podcast. However, Bri said that her messages were misinterpreted.

“I will say that the way I intended those messages to come to her, she didn’t receive it the way I intended,” Bri told Jessi Woo and TikTok personality Storytime With Rikki during a live stream on Thursday, November 7. “I was not apologizing for me, I don’t know, causing stress in their lives. My life had already started flipping upside down and I imagined the same was happening for her.

She continued, “At the time, I assumed she did not know the full truth and that she was just getting all this backlash from people off of something that wasn’t her fault. So, I reached out to her and I’m like, ‘Hey, I’m so sorry that all this is happening.’ Basically like, ‘I’m sorry that the truth is causing issues for you or you’re getting backlash from the truth when you didn’t have an option because you didn’t know the truth,’ is what I thought in my mind. I’m not apologizing for ‘some lie.’ I didn’t lie about anything.”

Jessi and Rikki also shared some alleged screenshots of messages between Bri and Ashley, and the women pointed out that it was clear Bri wasn’t apologizing because she thought she had wronged Ashley and Tyler in any way.

“Hi. Super hard for me to write you right now, but I just wanted to say I hope you are OK and I’m praying for you and Tyler both,” Bri’s message to Ashley read. “A lot is happening right now and I just never wanted to intentionally cause you any pain. I won’t say much in this forum but just wanted to reach out and say I hope you are OK. Completely understandable if you never respond to me. I’m sure your world is just as crazy, if not more so, than mine right now. I wish you the best.”

Ashley replied and said that while she was “super surprised to get” Bri’s message, she “welcomed it.” The marketing director added that she had been “getting attacked on social media,” and Bri acknowledged that it “wasn’t fun.”

Bri also claimed that she contacted Tyler before she exposed anything about his relationship with his children. She explained that she wanted to have the opportunity to speak to Ashley before any of the information came out.

“I said, ‘Hey, I want to provide the opportunity for me and [Ashley] to have a talk. That way she’s not surprised by anything that comes out,’” she explained. “He said, ‘Let me see if she wants to talk to you, and I’ll let you know.’ I said, ‘You have one day.”

Bri said that she “ended up giving [Tyler] two days,” but when she didn’t hear back from him, she proceeded to tell her side of the story. However, once she shared her story, Ashley allegedly blocked Bri on social media.

Ashley’s recollection of Bri’s apology was a bit different when she talked about the situation during “The Viall Files.”

“I will say she wrote me on Instagram and apologized to me and Tyler,” Ashley told Nick, 40, during the episode. “[She] said she’s praying for us and she never meant for it to go this way. She won’t say too much on this forum. She also wrote me and said it was OK if I never wanted to respond and she knows my world is crazy right now and she never intentionally meant to cause me any pain.”

She concluded, “If we never talk to [the woman] or the kids again, it’s still a thing. I wouldn’t mind having a sit-down with [her]. I want to know what the motive is here, like, even his mom. When I talked to her, she was like, ‘It is exactly what he’s saying,’ and it used to be so uncomfortable for [my mother-in-law].”
