Ryan Hartman and Mats Zuccarello each scored power-play goals and goaltender Filip Gustavsson made 28 saves to power the Minnesota Wild to a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings Monday night at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
The Wild (38-25-5) found themselves down a goal when Adrian Kempe scored on the power play just 4 minutes, 59 seconds into the game for the Kings (36-21-9), but Minnesota scored the next three. Hartman knotted it up with his power-play goal just 1:51 into the second period and Zuccarello's was the go-ahead 15:22 into the third.
Marcus Johansson added an empty-netter with 56 seconds remaining to ice it.
Hartman also assisted on Zuccarello's goal and Jared Spurgeon had a pair of assists.
Darcy Kuemper made 19 saves on 21 shots for the Kings.
The Wild return to action Tuesday night when they host the Seattle Kraken for an 8:30 p.m. puck drop at the X.
