Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is set to take on the small screen once again, getting a role on the upcoming season of Brilliant Minds.
Variety reports Williams has secured a guest role on the show's second season. Also taking on guest spots are Molly Bernard, Laura Vandervoort and Connor Tomlinson, a favorite on Netflix's Love on the Spectrum.
Variety reports Porsha will appear in the first episode of the new season, playing the role of Bitsy, who is described as “an affluent Upper West Side housewife who sees Dr. Carol Pierce her private practice. She knows all the gossip about everyone, on every medical board in New York City.”
The role seems like a perfect fit for Williams who has had plenty of practice in the gossip department during her years on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She first had a lengthy run on the show from 2012-2021 before making her return in 2024.
It's not the first time Porsha has secured an acting role, she appeared in the TV movie Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017 and Star on FOX back in 2018.
She's also had some experience in live theater, with a supporting role back in 2014 in A Mother's Love. The play was a stage production created by Porsha's fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. Not to mention, Porsha also sang in the production.
Variety reports Brilliant Minds stars Zachary Quinto, Perry, Ashleigh LaThrop, Alex MacNicoll, Aury Krebs, Spence Moore II, Teddy Sears, and Donna Murphy will all return for the show's second season as well.
Porsha has not yet publicly announced her latest acting gig.
Fans wanting to catch a glimpse of Porsha in her new role will have to wait a few more weeks, it's set to premiere September 22 on NBC.
