RHOBH Season 14: How I’m Mentally Preparing for the Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley Fallout

We all know why we tune in to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s to watch massive amounts of drama and feel better about our lives. Well, at least that’s why I tune in. But the Season 14 drama between Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards is hitting a bit too close to home. I have just gone through a friendship breakup, and it sucks. Naturally, I already feel triggered by watching Kyle and Dorit duke it out on screen. So here is what I am doing to prepare for this massive fallout.

Exclusive | Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley's friendship is at odds after NYFW disses

The RHOBH Season 14 trailer looks messy

Their friendship seems to be taking a volatile turn in the upcoming season. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars were filmed screaming across the table at one another. Kyle yelled, “What more do you f*cking want from me?” Dorit is irked as she claps back, “I want you to stop f*ckking raising your voice to me!” But Kyle proudly quips, “No! You scream at everybody!” These two are going for the jugular, and it isn’t pretty. The group has accused Dorit of not listening before, but the insult seems to cut deeper coming from Kyle.

Dorit continues the fight, shouting, “You think I’m some f*ckiing idiot.” Though I’d warn Dorit not to ask questions, she doesn’t want the answers to. During another dinner, Kyle notes, “God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason. Can you let me talk?” But Dorit has had quite enough of the insults, noting, “It’s OK, Kyle. It’s time for you to f*cking listen.” Guys, I can’t! I’m going to have to watch through my eyes when the scenes occur.

I’m rewatching the early years of RHOBH

Things were better between Kyle and Dorit during the early years of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While their relationship was never perfect and a bit rocky, they at least tricked most viewers into thinking they had a true friendship. I mean, Kyle imploded her friendship with Lisa Vanderpump over Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. If that isn’t a friend I don’t know what is. Dorit and Kyle’s gal-mance in Season 7 was everything. They loved fashion and flaunting their wealth. Frankly, they were the best of friends.

I loved how they giggled and had inside jokes. But perhaps the best perk of the ladies’ friendship was how well their husbands got along. PK Kemsley and Mauricio Umanksy were the bromance the series needed. I loved tuning in to see the couples go on double dates, especially when they mocked their other co-stars. But now I am afraid all that will be lost as the women are in full cat-scratching mode. Why can’t we just go back to a simpler time?

I have to face the facts about Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards

I can’t ignore the elephant in the room anymore. Kyle and Dorit will have some major issues, and I will have to accept that. Fans of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills knew their demise was coming. Season 13 showed some major cracks in their foundation. Dorit felt pushed aside by the addition of Morgan Wade, and the Halloween actor didn’t like Dorit’s jealous side. All Dorit wanted was a bit more attention for her former BFF, but instead, she was left out in the cold. It didn’t help that Kyle alleged Dorit had exaggerated their friendship for the cameras, either.

The newest RHOBH season is going to be trying for fans like me, who are still mourning the friendship. But at least there will be drama. It is something if the rumors about Mo and Dorit turned out to be true. Kyle was also seen defending herself about texts from PK. Even though I can’t imagine the child actor would stoop so low, the rumors are out there. Currently, I don’t see a way forward for these two. But my fingers are still crossed that they can find their way back to one another.
