See How the RHOA Editors Called Out Drew Sidora for Claims About Dennis McKinley

Porsha Williams Addresses "Sneaky" Dennis & Drew: EXCLUSIVE

One of the hottest topics among The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 cast has revolved around whether or not Drew Sidora's relationship with Porsha Williams's ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley is more about business or pleasure. By Episode 3, even the RHOA editors were bringing the shade.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Sundays 8/7c on Bravo and streaming next day on Peacock.

It's no secret that Dennis has been helping Drew with her music career by executive producing her new album. As Cynthia Bailey pointed out, though, Drew has been "caught in a fib, or two... or three... or four..." So, when some of the ladies, including Cynthia and newbie Angela Oakley, visited her in the studio, naturally, they had questions.

When the women asked if she and Dennis had discussed "the situation with Porsha," Drew revealed that they had "not talked, but [texted]" about it. "Dennis [doesn't] answer the phone," Drew claimed in a confessional. "We do not talk on the phone."

Instantly, flashback footage rolled of "Drew and Dennis on the phone" from two weeks prior.

When Drew further insisted, "We're not friends, we just have a real strict business relationship," the editors inserted more receipts in the episode, including a zoomed-in shot of Drew calling "Dennis Bro," as she had his name saved in her phone.

Drew Sidora reveals texts to Porsha about the Dennis situation

After Drew admitted to feeling like it's "always everybody versus me" in the group, the other 'Wives pointed out that she really shouldn’t have started working with Dennis without speaking directly to Porsha first. After all, Dennis and Porsha share a young daughter, Pilar Jhena "PJ" McKinley.

That's when Drew claimed to have some receipts of her own, replying, "I have the text messages to show me constantly reaching out."

In a confessional she broke down the dates of some texts to Porsha, pointing out that she often took several days to respond. After more than a month of back and forth, Drew said they'd finally made plans to have dinner at Nobu, "and then she canceled on me, so…"

Still, Cynthia highlighted "the respect part" of Drew getting Porsha's blessing to work with her ex, adding that she should have just picked up the phone and called her. After Drew doubled down that "Dennis has been so professional," Cynthia offered a piece of hard-earned wisdom.

"I'm gonna leave you with this," she said. "Baby daddies hit different."

Why Porsha Williams refused to talk to Drew about Dennis

Despite calling Drew a "lowdown dirty individual" during their initial confrontation in the RHOA Season 16 premiere — Porsha attempted to make amends afterwards.

"I will say Porsha reached out to me the day after Shamea [Morton]'s birthday and she said we need to talk about it,” Drew revealed in the third episode. "So that's where we are."

Later, when she approached Porsha at Kelli Ferrell’s Balmain shopping event, though, Drew was swiftly shut down. Explaining that she hadn’t been feeling well (and adding a cough, for dramatic effect), Porsha continued to insist that they chat the following week, instead.

"It was like, 'I wanna talk to you, and I wanna talk now.' And I'm like, 'Where is this audacity comin' from?'" Porsha recalled in a confessional, before referencing Drew's sister, Allison. "Then I look back, and the audacity is behind me with braids. I said, 'Oh, her sister is here.' She done brought Heavy D out. I am not about to get into this with two people on me."

Why is Porsha Williams upset with Drew Sidora?

As Porsha explained in the RHOA premiere, she didn’t care about the nature of Drew's relationship with Dennis. Her issue, she claimed, was that Drew went "behind [her] back" and did "something very dirty by asking Dennis to film" with her.

"Imagine [Dennis] and I getting into it or something, and we're not speaking," Porsha explained to a producer in Episode 2. "And now he gets offered these cameras to come and use my own platform against me."

What’s more, Porsha was also upset that Drew allegedly called production to film a photo shoot for Go Naked Hair without asking her permission first.

In the absence of an official one-on-one, though, Drew remained confused about Porsha’s grievances.

"This is somebody I consider to be a friend, and there's no real clear indication as to why she’s upset with me," Drew shared in a confessional. "It's kind of all over the place. Is it [because] I'm working with Dennis on music? Is it the Go Naked shoot? It's just like, girl, she wanna be mad at me, so she mad at me. So let's go."

Don't miss what else Porsha had to say about the unexpected reason Drew and Dennis' "sneaky" working relationship rubbed her the wrong way.
