Taylor Ann Green has been in a happy relationship with Gaston Rojas since 2023, but he chose not to hang out with her Southern Charm friends on Season 10.
Taylor opened up about why Gaston mostly stayed away from the rest of the group — which includes her ex, Shep Rose, as well as Craig Conover, Venita Aspen, Leva Bonaparte, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Jarrett “JT” Thomas, Salley Carson, Molly O'Connell, Ryan Albert — during filming.
"He’s got a really good job that he is not trying to risk at all. But he doesn’t know anybody in the group and vice versa," Taylor said during a recent interview with Decider. "They don’t know him."
Over time, however, Gaston has gotten very close with Rod, and he's also gotten to know Leva, Molly, and Venita. Still, as he's heard what the Charm-ers have been saying about him and his relationship with Taylor, she said he's been happy that he didn't hang out with them all more.
"But I think seeing what people are saying, it’s more of just an eye roll for him," Taylor continued. "He’s going, 'I’m glad that I’ve made a decision to not be around these people because they’re all a little kooky.'"

After hearing her ex question her romance with Gaston and her past entanglement with Salley's now-ex Andrew Dietz, Taylor had a message for Shep.
"I don’t think he has any room to speak about anything when it comes to relationship-wise, like anybody, and especially me," Taylor said. "So I’m just kind of like, 'Keep your mouth shut, dude. Just do yourself and do everybody a favor here and keep your mouth shut because you’re not doing yourself any good with trying to make sense of who I’m dating or who I’ve dated in the past or anything like that.'"
Taylor Ann Green clarifies if there was crossover with Salley and Gaston
On Southern Charm Season 10, Episode 5, Salley confided in Madison and Paige DeSorbo about how she felt she "overlapped" with Taylor in their respective relationships with Gaston.
Taylor, however, said in her recent interview that Salley's romance with Gaston ended a while before she started dating him.
"There is something where she thought that there was crossover between me and her and that was shocking. But there’s a lot of things that she says that I’m just like — the things that come out of her mouth aren’t shocking to me anymore," Taylor said. "There was never any crossover."
According to Taylor, she "started dating Gaston in September" and Salley had "zero communication" with Gaston starting in July.
She also questioned why Salley was bringing it up when she was "happily" dating Andrew at the time.
"That should be your primary goal and talking about and you’re happy," Taylor said about Salley and her now-ex. "Why are you talking about something from the past?"
Salley, for her part, confirmed her split from Andrew in a social media Q&A on January 19.
