‘Teen Mom’ Fans Praise Briana DeJesus Respecting Daughter’s Wishes

Briana DeJesus has been doing the best she can with the circumstances she has been given. The Teen Mom star shares her daughter, Nova, with her ex, Devoin, and her youngest, Stella, with Luis Miguel. Unfortunately, Luis has not been present for Stella, which has been really hard for the young lady. Recently, Briana wanted to take her girls to Japan. Yet, in order to do so, she needed a letter from Luis to take Stella out of the country. Her friend did tell her it likely would not be a problem, but she contacted Luis anyway.

Initially, Briana did not tell Stella he was coming by as she was unsure if he would show up. When she did let her daughter know what was happening, Stella did not feel comfortable seeing her dad. Instead of Briana forcing her to see Luis, she simply respected her wishes, and Stella went into her room with her sister. Briana met Luis outside with her mother, and he did bring gifts for the girls. After fans saw how well Briana handled the situation and respected Stella’s boundaries, they could not help but commend her.

She proved that she was an incredible and compassionate mother. After Briana DeJesus saw what Teen Mom viewers were saying, she shared this:

• Ill never force my kids to do anything that makes them uncomfortable. (Obviously theres different situations but this one I had to sit and truly listen to stella)

She also shared that she did think about meeting Luis elsewhere. However, she was unsure if Stella would change her mind and want to see her dad. Ultimately, she did not and actually did not even need the papers from him when they traveled.

Teen Mom viewers immediately had a lot to say regarding Briana DeJesus and her parenting. It was nothing but complimentary on how she let Stella decide for herself what was right. Moreover, she did not drag her daughter outside to see Luis. She left the situation alone, and that was amazing to see:
