Murgatroyd posted the video on Instagram with the caption, “TGIF.” Fans reacted to the post, praising the couple and their son, and complimenting them on being a beautiful family. “Friday dance party!” a comment reads. “Behind all that glitter and those fancy dance costumes is the most adorable family!”

“I love how Shai was getting in the groove at the beginning before the dance started! He was really feeling it,” another person shared. Other reactions include, “I love your boy. He is just a kiddo but I noticed his dancing has improved! It didnt need to but it did!”

Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy have shared a glimpse into their home life on several occasions, including posting sweet photos on Instagram. Murgatroyd has also discussed what motherhood means to her in multiple interviews and shared whether she would be open to having more children (she has stepped away from DWTS to focus on her family and other business ventures).

What Has Peta Murgatroyd Said About Having More Children?

“I think it’s fair to say [I’m done], yeah,” Murgatroyd told Us Weekly in June 2025 of how she felt about having more children. “I think my body, just doing the back-to-back with the two babies, it was a lot — not just physically, but mentally.” She also admitted that if she were to expand her family now, she would feel “guilty.”

The couple welcomed their first child, Shai, in 2017. His little brother Rio was born in 2023, and their third son, Milan, was born in 2024.

“I want to be able to give my all to my children, and I feel like, right now, I’m struggling to do that with three,” Murgatroyd said. “I don’t know how to cut myself into three pieces and give it all to them like I did for Shai for six years. He was by himself with us, and he got everything of us, and I almost feel guilty that now I’ve got two younger ones, and I need to split my time with everybody, and they’re not getting what I gave Shai. You know, it’s just physically impossible.”

The couple may not be adding to their family, but the one they have is beautiful, and seeing videos of all of them together is always welcomed by fans.
