Scheana Shay targeted Lisa Vanderpump on the latest episode of her podcast, suggesting her former boss attempted to manipulate Ally Lewber into getting back together with James Kennedy after his arrest, despite their “abusive relationship.”
While also explaining why she attended Stagecoach instead of Kristen Doute‘s baby shower, the 39-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum wondered why Lisa, 64, called Ally after James’ arrest and admitted she was “not shocked” that she had reached out.
“[Ally] was pretty upset because someone like Lisa, either a person in power or a woman we look up to, someone who can be very impressionable on us, we take what they say highly into consideration to a point where maybe we could be easily manipulated or just led down a path we don’t want to go down because we’re trying to be a people pleaser to make that person happy,” Scheana revealed on the May 2 episode of Scheananigans.
“Ally called me after, and she was just like, ‘Wait. Did I do the right thing? Did I do the wrong thing?’ Lisa said that I should be there for him and support him, and get back with him, and everything she told me about that phone call, I was like, ‘Honey, absolutely not. You did the right thing, and there is not a person in this world that should tell you that you should’ve done otherwise. It took this event for her to finally realize that this relationship was not for her anymore, and anyone trying to convince her to stay in an abusive relationship just because it wasn’t physically abusive, like, shame on you.”
As for why she was absent when Kristen celebrated her baby shower last weekend, Scheana denied that Stagecoach was “more important.”
“I go to the festivals for fun, of course, but it is also work for me. I’m usually working with brands and have posts and things that I need to do,” Scheana explained, as seen in a clip shared by Bye Wig Hello Drama on Instagram.
While Scheana didn’t attend Kristen’s shower, she did get her “a cute present” and let her know that she would be out of town and celebrating daughter Summer‘s 4th birthday.
“I sent her a nice message. I really wish I could’ve been there, but when she gave me the date a couple months ago, I was like, ‘We’re gonna be in the desert. Summer’s birthday is [April 26],'” she recalled. “We had friends at the house, and that’s what we did for my daughter’s birthday.”
The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
